  Is this considered a good unit? Energy Ratings aside, I'm just after something that's going to decently wash and dry in an adequate amount of time, has a decent sized drum and not die on me early. Reliability is key to me and the 3 years warranty sounds/looks good. It'll be for a 2 person household I'm in the market for a washer/dryer combo as our laundry room can't fit 2 units neither vertically or horizontally so these are our only option so please refrain from the combo = bad and get separate units comment.

    Until recently they were offering an additional 2 years warranty when you register the product, making it a 5 year warranty. Not sure if that's still the case.

    Comes with 5 years warranty actually, get 2 bonus years if you register.

    This unit isn't terrible, best bang for buck in the market if you're not willing to go 2nd hand. My sister had this machine in white, it looked and felt cheap, but worked fine.

    It won't be bone dry unless you run it for hours, but dry enough to wear or put back on the bed for sheets. It feels as dry as it would from running the max spin cycle 10 times, or the steam setting on LG machines.

    I have the same washing machine for 2.5 years and still running strong. No issue with the dryer function, it does a good job as my previous Samsung and LG combo washer dryer but very time consuming to use the drying function. Both LG and Samsung stopped working just passed the 5 years warranty period.

  I had a very similar Chiq model, never really used the dryer function, when I did found it didnt work, repaired under warranty, the repair guy lol'd when I asked, would I not have further issues? :) few months later the thing started leaking water, Good Guys were brilliant and let upgrade a different brand (standard washing machine)
