Problem is that you need a Corsair RGB controller to use the RGB in them - they won't simply hook up to a standard 3 pin ARGB header without some modification or some Aliexpress adaptors.

    • This one says "CORSAIR LINK compatibility: NO". I couldn't find proper specs online for the OEM variant.
I assume it's using the normal 5V 3 pin ARGB connector, but good chance you're right.

Yes, it's confusing - these fans don't support Corsair Link/iCUE directly - you need a Lighting Node Core/Pro or Commander Pro/Core to control the RGB, I am 99.5% certain

This is such an Apple move. "Oh you want to use all of the feature of the product you purchased… Guess you have to buy more of our products then…"

I feel really sorry for you if you had to learn that the hard way 😕

          • @Brotality: Oh, no, I am fully in the Corsair iCUE ecosystem. For a time I had both a Lighting Node Pro and a Commander Pro in the same PC, even though I could have controlled my RGB fans with the Commander Pro (making the Lighting Node Pro entirely redundant).

The one benefit of using Corsair RGB control is that you get individual control over each fan, and each LED - you won't get that with an ordinary 3 pin ARGB setup.

I have 10 of these (in black) in a lian li o11 dynamic XL case. cable management nightmare..

    • literally me right now, 5 of my 9 corsair white led fans are with dead led's at the moment and the others are speckled with pink and yellow while trying to still be white. Unfortunately my white build is a disaster as white burns the hottest, which i think takes out the led's faster over time. Thanks OP for this deal, i might be able to get my pc looking new again, except i dont like the idea of replacing everything…….

Replacing your RGB fans is arguably the most frustrating part of upgrading your PC. Cracking open the case and dealing with all the wiring easily makes it the worst component to swap out.

Corsair charging $50 for a single plastic fan is hilarious
