Best Telstra MNVO

Is BOOST the best Telstra MNVO? By best I mean least crippled compared to Telstra own prepaid.

    Yes. Boost. Is good.

Yes but Boost is now a part of Telstra, can’t call them an MNVO

Boost is the only one that uses the full Telstra network.

    jbhifi as well

  • Only option really

  • Boost is good but couple of items to be aware of:

    • it's 28 days not 1 month plan so effectively you paying 1 extra month over a year
    • international calling doesn't work with just the country code you have to dial extra digits to enable international calling
    • roaming packages are messy

I found More telecom cheaper and better if you with CBA

    • international calling doesn't work with just the country code you have to dial extra digits to enable international calling

what is this ? never had this issue

      • Y3qh same here when i use to be on boost

Or could it be a recent issue?

        • I don't think so, maybe OP is talking about "+"?

Boost and Telstra are good but oversubscribed, i ve been using them since 2017. Recently moved to Vodafone find it pretty fast and accessible everywhere in suburban Melbourne, or northern far suburbs new developments near hume fwy are still good.

What are people's thoughts on Belong these days? I'm with them now for 2 services (my mobile & a data only SIM for my dash cam's 4G module) but was wondering if there was a better option.

  • Boost / Jbhifi

  • Boost yearly is cheaper than monthly and being a heavy data user struggle to use 170Gb or use the included international call minutes.

I was expecting to see AldiMobile in here. Been with them for 5 years and never had a problem. Their $25/mo plan is a great deal
