  • Cheaper at Gerry’s emporium.

Haven’t bought a TV in a while but damn these specs have gotten impressive for the price. 144hz gaming TV… blimey.

    • If previous cybershack reviews are anything to go by, these supposedly only hit a maximum of 120hz refresh rate in Australia (they say it's due to the 50hz power input, as opposed to 60hz input power in other countries).

is there a big difference between C7K and C8K to justify the price difference?

    • +1

The c8k is noticeably brighter and slightly better colours. Gaming performance is near identical. It also has the infinity edges with the slimmer bezels and has a brushed metal look (but I believe it's still made of plastic). so if you think that's worth it, then get the c8k. I think the c7k will suit most people!

Can't speak to this generation but the general consensus for the previous generation (C855 vs C755) was if you can afford it then go for the higher class. Had better processing power and brightness

They have them side by side in JB North Lakes. They both look very nice, but the 8 did appear better, (but not world's apart).

it's not a price error, they are doing 20% off TCL TVs bigger than 65"

Can anyone say how the C6K (also on sale) compares to both the C7K and C755 (from last year)?

  • I owned this exact tv. It has horrible side viewing angles. The C8K is meant to have a better panel to alleviate this issue, but cannot comment.

Who views their TV from the side?

      • Unless you only sit directly in front of the tv, it has a horrible white haze across the picture. YMMV.

    • Maybe ask them.

  • Im looking for a Hisense 65 inch anyone got a reference price point i should be targetting

Your comment lacks the required context for anyone to help you

  • I recently bought this TV. Speaker sound quality is mediocre.

  • The c6k is $991 delivered on eBay. Is the c7k worth the extra $$?

    • +1

They're all great screens. There's a bigger jump in quality from the c6k to the c7k, than there is from the c7k to the c8k.

Have a look at some reviews online. In USA the models are QM6K, QM7K and QM8K. Giid online reviews will give you the info you need.

      • I was originally just going to get something like the linsar 70 inch tv for $550… Then I considered the jump up to a better tv like the c6k… Then reviews say to go to the c7k… I feel like everyone can always justify the subsequent jumps. Next thing I know I'll be looking at OLED.

Haha. I can absolutely tell that you will love the c6k. Get it and don't look back!

I finally pulled the plug and got a c6k 65". Pretty happy with it. (I have no experience with the higher models though).

Also thanks to this post I got a refund for price guarantee just now.
