    I don’t even consider non-rechargeable batteries these days. Haven’t since eneloops

      A good quality alkaline makes a lot more sense in certain types of devices, particularly low drain devices like small calculators.

      Yeah, but a lithium battery has a very long shelf life, and can handle a wide range of temperatures better than some other types. So they have a valid use case.

        Lithium are also required in some high draw devices like GPS trackers.
