SCAs range of globes have undergone a facelift/brand name change so the old Enduralight branded globes are on clearance. They were on clearance for $3 a couple of weeks ago, but SCA must really want to get rid of them - $1 now. Stock varies between stores. Still plenty at my local.
I stocked up on 21/5w stop/tail globes, got a few of the white/blue Parker globes, T5 interior globes and some festoon globes for the cabin.
They are globes and will work until they blow like all globes.
Likely the same issue as the iLoad's passenger side headlight.
They didn't quite ground the wiring close enough for some other accesories, and the bulbs ground wire becomes a path to ground.
You'll notice every cop van of that vintage has a headlight out; thats not from lack of expected maintenence.
Bet thats happening here too.
Just don't neglect your bulb grease, and buy the specifically 'long life' versions (they use more tungsten, so looser coils, so are a little dimmer, but last).
