Galaxy buds 3 pros would be an even bigger upgrade. I own XM3 earbuds(best earbuds u could buy 5 years ago), my brother has Buds 3 Pros, and the buds 3 pros destroy my old XM3s.

Can be switched off. The passive noise cancelling is very good on these
Thanks I currently use some Sony WF-C500 earbuds and I love them BUT they are pretty banged up now having been used to death and was just going to get another pair, do you think this would be an 'upgrade' or just as good - or just get more Sonys? Also can you re-program the tap/clicks to do next and previous tracks? Thanks! 🎧
Can't comment on the sound difference, but I think most people will be happy with these.
They have touch controls, but I can't remember if it is customisable. I always turn touch controls off on my buds, so it's nothing against these specifically.

Excellent tuning, much better treble timbre than buds 3 pro / pixel buds etc at the cost of middling ANC.
Eh? The buds fe have excellent ANC especially at that price point. Check rtings and they also rate this quite highly.
At the price point yes, I was comparing to current Gen flagships.
I was saying that this is objectively better tuned than all of the top end TWS buds except airpod pro 2, but with worse ANC.
Did not mention price at all, these would be good even at 150-200 due to the tonality.
In the common anc test, the buds fe losses out to the aipords air max by 0.1 point

These are all flagships and honestly the anc on the fe is definitely not middling.
Im saying, if they sound excellent tuning wise to you, then these are probably the best valued even at rrp considering how much better these anc are, objectively measured, to other flaship tws. They 100% do not have middling anc.

I bought these last year in March 2024 from jbhifi for $100 with 1 year warranty.
This year in may 2025 , their mic stopped working on both. Exactly 2 months after their warranty expired.
I've tried cleaning and resseting and everything but the mic doesn't work. And alot of people have the same issue online.
These were great when they worked and i barely used then only at home. So there was no water damage or anything.
Was a big fan of samsung. But s21 and buds FE both randomly developed problems. :(
As mentioned its a direct import. Just arrived and seems it was for the UAE market.
Are the going to be issues with warranty?
