    PB done via JB online.
$10 voucher + couple of GC i had in stock + left over balance from classified GC at 10% off = cheap as heck, thanks OP!

    • Nice, JB live chat wouldn't even price match for me

      • +2

Maybe give another try for a nicer person & provide the postcode has stocks available

        • Tried, they weren't having it. Second person literally sent me back to the first.
Bought from HN, not gonna argue if JB don't want my money.

  • Are there any decent phones sub $200? My son managed to dunk his in the sink and we're not keen to spend much for a replacement.

    • not really. although you can find a phone for under $200, i would hardly call them "decent" and would consider them e-waste upon arrival. $300 seems to be the entry level for "decent" phones.

Motorola G75 is less than $300. As it comes with a pair of Motorola Buds which worths about $100, you are paying less than $200 for the phone.

G75 actually has Gorilla Glass 5 but this one has Gorilla Glass 3. The screen is actually tougher than this!

      • That has a LCD screen though, vs OLED here. Something to keep in mind.

  • I currently have a Galaxy Flip 4 (which now turns itself off when I close it), would I notice a massive drop off in performance/capability going to something like this?

I really just use my phone for social media, banking and the occasional sports highlights - nothing particularly extensive.

    • +2

I just tested it. This is faster than a Flip 4.

no more kikker on bubs too.

  • A bit on the fence with this. Would it be possible to purchase it c&c, and just not collect it if change mind?

would have been way cooler if you left this tidbit of advice before the deal actually ended instead of 9 o'clock at night.

      • sorry mate, I was supposed to complete the order payment in the afternoon but because of work couldnt do it and the 30$ perks was given to all only at 9PM last night, just nick of time before i placed the order. And I immediately posted here after that :)

  • Payment authorisation for this order was not successful.

Reversal of the transaction has been initiated and the funds will return to your account within a few business days - subject to your bank's processing times.

Says its in stock though :(

    • this happens when you flood the order with multiple gift cards + numerous payment methods :(

      • Gerry must have noticed he was a professional.

      • Will deal come back ..

        • phone is discontinued

        • +1

          Prices will go down only

    • I got this trying to buy the 42" TV the other day. Was just using CC, no giftcards or anything. I think it means out-of-stock, but they don't want to actually say that, so they use a payment error instead so you keep trying on the off chance you decide to buy something else from them too.

  • Anyone who has ordered online for delivery received any update as yet?

    • +1

Yes, I received the delivery notice with tax invoice within 30 minutes of placing the order.

      • +1

Thanks. Checked my email and the same. For some reason I thought they would put all that info on the order info on the online account. Obviously not.

  • Wonder if deal-will come back ..
