This promotion is open to members who have successfully activated the bonus offer within their Cashrewards account ("Eligible Entrants"). To qualify for the $3 bonus, Eligible Entrants must shop online at Amazon Australia using a Cashrewards platform between 8 July 2025 12am AEST and 9 July 2025 11:59pm AEST with a minimum spend of $30 (excluding GST, delivery and other fees) on a single eligible purchase ("Qualifying Purchase"). A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the Amazon Australia Store special terms or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase. Eligible Entrants may track the progress of the bonus at any time on the 'For You' page in the Cashrewards website or app. Bonus will only appear under 'My Rewards', and be paid into the Eligible Entrant's Cashrewards account, after the associated Qualifying Purchase is approved by the store. Cashrewards Terms of Use apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase.     CR's tracking has been pretty shaky for me ever since they introduced those 'For You' deals. Hope this one works.

      I had issues with their EOFY $5 bonus on $50 gift card promo, but they did sort that out and added it to my rewards.

      I got this one, activated it, made a purchase, and so far it seems like I've got the same issue as that one, where the purchase has tracked but the promo never changes from Active to Pending Approval. I'll wait and see how this one pans out.

        I had to lodge a claim for the CW promo which didn't track at all. They manually approved the base cashback of like 30c and conveniently ignored the part about the $5 bonus.

          I've checked the T&Cs for the Amazon Prime Day Promotion. It says that "a Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the Amazon Australia Store special terms or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase". I interpret that as saying promo codes void cashback but it would be good to get official confirmation.

      Yep. And not only, I activated it on their website using my desktop PC before buying stuff, then I opened the app on my phone and it was waiting to be activated again.

        Going 48 hours soon and still not tracked. They did say tracking could take up to 4 days… hopefully it tracks by then. Meanwhile my TCB order tracked with the bonus $5 in just 5 hours. NVM just tracked after ~40 ish hours. But bonus hasn't tracked yet.

    So if I have a Gift Card Balance amount on my account that I can use, is that "Amazon credit" or do they actually mean an Amazon Credit Card? Will I get any cashback using it? Thanks

      I've got the exact same issue has I had with that one. Amazon purchase has tracked but the promo doesn't change from Active to Pending Approval. I'll see if it ends up changing to Ended like the last one did instead of tracking properly.

    Big shame here as excludes GST, pretty sure previous deals and TCB one includes GST so is alot more straight forward.

    My purchase tracked at $29 so looks like might be an issue :(

          I think I'll just stick with TopCashback in future, they include GST and they're more reliable all round… (plus they pay-out without you having to chase them up)..

        Huh, I assumed the tax-inclusive amount would be what qualified for bonus cashback, even if the regular cashback is only for the tax-exclusive amount.

        Anyway, purchases that qualify either way aren't tracking for the bonus, so guess it's wait and see!

            @FLICKIT: Previously, it has been inclusive. Maybe they just copied over standard things as CB can exclude GST. Hopefully it is a mistake and bonuses get paid when transactions are approved in 2 months or however long it takes.
            Suspect some people would have got caught out by this post. The title didnt mention ex gst originally and was only added but should just say $33 instead.

      Amazon normally tracks as individual items I think. Usually it's the combined total that matters, but CR doesn't have a rep here to confirm anything

    Tracked but can’t see the bonus anywhere. Has also disappeared all together. Seeing as how the tracked amount won’t be approved for a few months, I’m guessing Cashrewards are hoping we’ll all forget about it by then as there’s no way of checking where the bonus cashback amount is located

    Tracked for me, 3 items separated into 2 tracking amounts. The bonus has changed from ACTIVE to PENDING APPROVAL.

      I think ex gst could be an error. Wont find out for 2 months. Mine says pending approval and was less than $30 ex gst so its a wait to see if its approved.
      If yours doesnt show pending, it hasnt activated properly.
