Love this stuff. Is this price in all stores, or just an online special?

  • I get.

This item is temporarily out of stock - Please select an alternative

    $13 delivery fee

  • yes…tried to order one but $13 postage to Melbourne. not in this week catalogue so probably online only deal. OP might want to put online only in title.

I find most of the time that things on sale on the site will also be on sale in store, worth a look.

I selected collect in store….but mini order is $30

  • They were going at this price in store as well on Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure about now, since my store has no stock.

  • I got one in store during the week. Melbourne QV Woolworths. Not sure if still in stock there. From memory the green bristle toothbrush (in the packs) is a bit hard compared to their all white bristle toothbrush.

  • I just tried to order but did not, min. order value is $30.00 but after attempting to place an order exceeding this value, the $13.00 shipping fee was discounted by $13.00, so 20 tubes of Whiteglo will cost $30.80 delivered !

  • Cheers, just added 10 to our weekly online order. I usually buy these when they're on special for 2 for $9 so this bargain got me excited!

20 toothpaste for $27.80 with the free $5 discount and shipping they gave for first order

great! now i have 20 tooth brushes as bonus too!

    • Do you need to put any code in to get the $5 discount?

      • What is the $5 off code? Is it a single use unique code, or generic?

Why buy Chinese toothpaste? Normal toothpaste made in Australia is around this price.

If you really need a new toothbrush with your toothpaste it's a good buy. From what I remember though, the toothbrush is way worse than a cheap store brand one.

    • +2

I like the toothbrush personally. its firm and keeps firm for a while. A couple of bucks buys a really crappy one in my experience

    • Yup, it is pretty sh*te indeed. The toothpaste is nothing to write home about too. I've bought several tubes of the stuff (on special) back when I was a student. Couldn't for it to finish… :P Colgate Advanced whitening FTW!

        • choice reckons the claims on virtually every brand of toothpaste contain at least one that is total BS, at least there is nothing terribly harmful in white glo, also its one of the only effective, fluoride containing toothpastes in Australia that isn't animal tested

        • Thanks for the link josephchi.

All toothpastes are created effectively equal when it comes to active ingredients. Keeping that in mind, you'll find that certain toothpastes leave a pretty crisp minty taste after brushing; I like that (especially since my gag reflex goes hyper in the morning)!

"fluoride containing toothpaste that doesn't do animal testing"

Most people don't give a rat's behind about that (not saying that it's a justified posture, but it is what it is).

  • I just placed an order for $1.54 ea.

More discount over the night? Or price is different from state to state?

    • The price should be $1.54, $1.64 or $1.74, depending on the location.

It's not just state to state - prices often vary between CBD, suburban and regional stores too.

I have been told by dental practitioners that whitening toothpaste is not good for the teeth.

    • +5

Same here. My 50 year old teeth are the colour of 100 year old piano keys - too much coffee I'm afraid. My dentist said I would be better of buying a can of British Paints or Dulux (but say "no" to the free jellybeans).

Perhaps if you were younger you wouldn't repeat yourself so much :-)

          It could be flurosis.

Tartar, bacteria and staining are quite easy to remove.

I am often bullied due to people's misunderstandings. I went to get my teeth bleached and laser treated with no noticeable result.

Asian children that drink a lot of strong teas are most at risk. Western societies limit coffee & tea intake as they are stimulants. It's not about the small amount of fluoride added to water, that's so tiny compared to the amount in a potent cup of tea. Don't believe those conspiracy theories.

        • Could you speak up a bit please … I'm afraid I'm a little hard of hearing.

ran out of toothpaste 5 days ago and was waiting on a good deal!

  • Thanks, this is the toothpaste I always buy. Bought 15 of them and a couple of extra things totalling $34. Received free delivery for some reason ;) Anyone know why???

    • First order.

      • No, i have ordered a few times online. Last time was probably a year ago though…strange..

Does this thing really make your teeth white? I have some girls to impress

    • It might if you decide to brush more often.
The toothpaste by itself may have little or no effect because most toothpastes use similar abrasives.
However, it is difficult to make assumptions without having seen your teeth.

    • As stated, it depends on your teeth - everyday whitening toothpastes 'whiten' teeth by removing stains.

For whitening, use carbamide peroxide/hydrogen peroxide based products, or visit a dentist.

I'm not a professional, am i still able to use this toothpaste?

I find that this toothpaste gave me seriously bad mouth ulcers, but that might be just me. This was not just a once off thing, I stopped/started using the Whiteglo and each time I would get ulcers, and so would my husband.
We use the macro organic one from Woolies now, not quite as many nasty chemicals in it.

    • Nortyjak,

Look for low fluoride content toothpastes and you won't have a problem with ulcers. The high fluoride content causes an allergic reaction thus resulting in mouth ulceration (inner cheek and tongue; palate to a lesser degree).

Hehe, you don't need to go full Earth-mother with "organic" toothpaste and the like. :) Normal toothpastes should be fine.

  • I went to the Chermside Westfield and Chermside Markeplace Woolworths, and they weren't on special/mark-down at either of them. I didn't check to see what price they scan at, though.

    • online only

  • I'm curious to see if the people who ordered online (particularly in bulk) actually receive what they ordered, a substitution, or nothing at all…

    • I'm curious to see if the people who ordered online (particularly in bulk) actually receive what they ordered, a substitution, or nothing at all…

      My order arrived this morning.

  • Bought the last 4 at Ingleburn Woolies yesterday for $1.64 each. Scanned @ normal price went to service counter got the differece back but didn't even offer me a free one. :-(

  • Anyone else able to receive their toothpaste?

I ordered 15 and got the confirmation to delivery to my home address, and received the call from Wollie saying they out of stock and they can't order anymore from the supplier. However, their website it say still available

  • Its $4.68 at my local wooliessa :(

  • I ordered 10 of it and received a phone call that they are out of stock and the delivery date was postponed. Then I received another call to postpone it again.
Yesterday I received my delivery and it was 2 short! Only 8 were delivered, but I was charged for all!
I emailed them, but no reply! Never again!
