6950

Hi everyone, and happy Prime Day! If you haven't joined TCB, do so today to enjoy the most generous everyday cashback rates and a highest cashback guarantee!

For today’s deal we're offering a $5 bonus on top of up to 20% uncapped cashback on all Amazon categories (see terms below for a few exclusions such as purchase of gift cards). Be sure to first activate the bonus then clear your Amazon cart before clicking/tapping the pink cashback button from TopCashbackAU.

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must first be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must activate the offer prior to making a single eligible transaction of $35 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges) at Amazon.com.au.
2. After activation, the transaction must be made between 00:00 AEST on 8th July, 2025 and 23:59 AEST on 8th July, 2025.
3. The bonus is eligible on all Amazon categories, excluding the purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases. Note: payments made with Amazon gift cards are eligible for the bonus.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $35 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges). Sales may report to your account excluding GST so the reported amount may be less than $35 – this is acceptable. Multiple items in an order may report separately in your account – this is also acceptable.
5. The bonus cashback will show as a separate entry in your TopCashback.com.au account once your order tracks, and will be payable once your order is payable. Tracking is not instant and may take up to 7 days to report.
6. If you cancel your order or Amazon.com.au deems the transaction ineligible for cashback, the cashback bonus will be removed.
7. The bonus cashback is over and above the advertised cashback rates which still apply.
8. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashback member. The bonus cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional bonuses (including tell-a-friend and sign-up bonuses) that may be active at this time.
9. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus. Please do not lodge a missing cashback claim until at least 7 days have passed.
10. TopCashback.com.au will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
11. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashback terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires.
12. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

13. Items added to cart after clicking/tapping from TopCashbackAU.
14. Purchase of products paid with gift cards.
15. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
16. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
17. Purchases from Amazon US/UK, provided you navigate & make the transaction via Amazon AU.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

18. Purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
19. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
20. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
21. Items added to cart prior to clicking from TopCashbackAU.
22. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
23. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
24. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
25. Fraudulent transactions.

Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results. Use our contact form here for any questions or issues. Claims can be submitted here.

Hmmm so we have to decide whether to use PAYTO5 or get the $5 bonus cashback

    • Lol the usual of negged the comment without reason. It’s clearly in the terms and more so of a heads up for those planning to use the 5% off PayTo if your purchases are greater than the $5 bonus cashback:

      1. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
      • The $3 bonus deal from Cashrewards doesn't care about promo codes btw.

        • Is that so? That makes it slightly more worth it

      • Those who can't read are out in force today. We need some Specsavers and adult education deals.

      • +3

I didn't use the PAYTO for my TCB purchase but I had a smaller purchase that I saved for the CR $3 for $30 one. So when I went to add the item to cart the PAYTO offer was there and although it does say to add the code it also has "click to redeem offer". So I took one for ozb and clicked and it and therefore did not have to manually enter any code. 🤔

I only bought just over $30 of Cat litter so won't lose much if it's declined as cb was only 0.5% (yeah and the bonus $3) I did at least save my 5% up front though. Will report back what happens 😺

    • Use both on multiple orders, split orders to $35 and $39 each to maximise the cashback/discount.

    • Don't forget that the $5 cashback can stack with amazon GC from macquarie, so that's additional 3% off.

  • +4

D’oh, that’ll teach me to buy too early on Prime day haha

  • +3

Cheers TA as usual. Can’t fault TCB and their offers recently.

  • Hi TA, just ordered a couple minutes before this is posted. Jist activated the promo, anyway to get this honoured?

    • +1

Unless your items shipped in near record time, you can easily cancel the order and reorder clicking out through TCB with the bonus activated. Just make sure to follow all the terms.

      • I placed an order 10 hours ago and it's already telling me I can't cancel. The items haven't shipped yet and the delivery date is 2 weeks away.

        • Yep same and in the past I even tried cancelling an order placed 30 mins prior and wasn't able to. Not saying it's always like this but it could be the case.

  • Thanks TA!

  • Thx Champ!

  • Love you long time

  • Love your work. Thanks TA.

  • happen to have a $38 item to buy, perfect. thanks

  • +3

Last time, they conveniently rejected cashback on some items in same order (amazon does multiple transactions for multiple items) and also rejected bonus $5 cashback as accepted ones is below threshold. This is the worst cashback app ever, never using again.

    • Hi. We don't conveniently reject anything lol. We only report to you what Amazon reports to us. If an item was rejected, it's likely Amazon credit was used (or given as partial refund etc), or maybe a code was used. There's a heap of reasons Amazon may decline and I can assure you had you transacted with the same purchases via any other cashback partner, the result would have been the same. Having said that, feel free to reach out if you'd like it looked at. All the best.

      • Not related to this post. But can you please confirm " Eero" routers considered as Amazon devices? ( For 20% cashback offer).

        • +1

          @CrypticM From TA in June:

Confirming Eero Mesh Wi-Fi devices fall under the "Amazon Devices" umbrella.

          • +1

            @trixieb: Thanks mate.

          • +1

@trixieb: Thank you @trixieb. Can you please update your post to include Eero in the tier name for Amazon Devices. I've now updated this on TCB to avoid further confusion going forward. Thank you!

      • Please specify "Amazon credit". I used my credit balance, which is valid according to your terms. Cheers.

        • +2

The only balance that you can use towards payment is from your Amazon Gift Card Wallet (balance). Any Amazon credit that you receive from buy/get promos, or make-good from partial refunds etc are ineligible. Hope this helps.

      • I don’t know what happened, transaction was in may and was showing tracked till last week with $5 bonus. When i checked this weekend, some transactions says rejected and $5 bonus is gone.

        • As I stated earlier, it's quite likely you applied credit to one on the items and Amazon declined commission on it. The bonus removes itself automatically if the spend amount drops below the threshold. Happy to help if you reach out. All the best.

      • Issue resolved. Thanks

        • @asmith84 what was the issue? why was the $5 bonus rejected?

  • Thanks OP, Very timely

  • +1

    S&S eligible - excellent!

I had a few s&s earlier that allowed me to add ro cart, rather then subscribe straight away. I'll have to dig them out. Cheers TA

  • Eligible using Amazon Credit/Giftcards for payment nice

Cashrewards $3 off $30 required credit cardnusage

    • +3

Use of Amazon credit for payment is ineligible (see item 19 in OP). Use of Amazon gift cards for payment is eligible. There's a difference :)

  • TY!

  • Thx TA Can you confirm if Eero devices are in the 20%?

    • From TA in June:

Confirming Eero Mesh Wi-Fi devices fall under the "Amazon Devices" umbrella.

  • +2

Would this still work if I cancel an item bought today after activating but buy another item (also today)?

Or is it "locked" to the first item you buy after activating?

    • +1

Generally, cashback is not locked to a specific item if that item is cancelled before it ships or is fulfilled, according to Cashrewards. If the purchase is cancelled, the cashback is also usually canceled, as cashback is typically awarded upon successful purchase completion.

      • according to Cashrewards

Note that this is TopCashback, but similar may apply - it's just that the wording is not definitive, one way or the other, to my mind.

        This:
        6. If you cancel your order or Amazon.com.au deems the transaction ineligible for cashback, the cashback bonus will be removed.
        and this:
Bonus is ineligible on the following:
        23. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.

could be read a few different ways.

        • You can only hope so. @tightarse

    • +1

I also would like to know if we bought items which were “ineligible” due to using the $10 off $80 promo or the PayTo promo, will the second purchase without any promo code nor promo credit be counted towards this bonus $5 cashback?

      • +1

        Yes. I checked with TA.

  • what does it mean for the "The first (new) Subscribe & Save order". does it mean that as long as it is a new product?

i have done s&s before but for a different product

    • As long as there isn't a Subscribe & Save currently on that item.

Cashback is eligible if you had previously Subscribe & Save on the same item but had cancelled the Subscribe & Save subscription.

When you Subscribe & Save again on that item, it would be considered as "first" Subscribe & Save for cashback.

      • +1

        appreciate the clarification!

      • +1

This clause always catches me out. What you’ve described is very helpful and should be added in the definition of exclusions etc in the original post and future posts.

  • Sorry TA if you have answered already. I have a $10 promotional credit from the other deal of buying $200. Will that be ok and eligible?

  • +1

@tightarse, would Kindle book purchases be ineligible?

    • I'm curious too. looking at the Scribe which is discounted but will only grab it if I get the 20%. Seems covered but been caught out before

disregard…..you meant the actual digital purchases

      • +1

        Yes, I meant Kindle Books.

looking at the Scribe which is discounted but will only grab it if I get the 20%

Scribe, and other Kindle E-readers, should be eligible. I got one a few weeks ago when TopCashback had 20% upsized cashback on Amazon Devices, and it tracked, and is now approved.

  • This may be a very stupid question but is it ok to buy now rather than adding to cart and going the long way?

Been using cashback sites for years and have had a bit of a brain fart as I normally don't click buy now

  • Every time.

    I need spending ideas.

    • +1

Most people would use toilet paper, tissues or paper towels 😀

  • Does anyone know if this stacks with ‘save 5% when you buy $40 of select items’?

Or does that make the cashback invalid?

    Thank you.

    • +1

Cashback is eligible. Amazon auto-applies the 5% discount for eligible items with $40 spend.

Cashback also stacks with your first Subscribe & Save orders on the above items (if applicable).

      • +1

        Thanks, @trixieb :)

  • Sorry for the noob question, is it eligible to buy items that are sold and shipped by third-party sellers?

  • on no, ordered too early, missed it

  • +1

Thanks T.A. Grabbed this well reviewed Novoo 100W charger (have the 67W version and it's great so far),

for $27 +- delivered (Prime) after cashback.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/NOVOO-Charger-MacBook-3-Port-Compa…

    • +1

Hey! I get the $5 but how did you get the rest of the discount. It's only going to be an extra 1% for electronics?

      • Oh, my mistake then. I thought Topcash was giving 20% cashback on all categories.

So $35 then, pretty happy with that as that is what I thought it would be until readung further.

  • Thanks TA! Just ordered something that was sitting in the basket for more than a year!

    • +2

Bonus is ineligible on the following:
      21. Items added to cart prior to clicking from TopCashbackAU.

Hopefully you removed it from your cart before adding again for purchase ;-)

      • I did. I had like 20 items in cart and I removed them all before purchase 😇

    • +1

you removed it from the cart before clicking through to Amazon from TCB, right?

      • +2

With all previous denied cashback (not from TCB!), I won’t commit such rookie error 😎

  • Does anyone know if the Kindle protective leather cover eligible for 20% off as well? Its under "Amazon Devices —> Amazon Device Accessories"

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Introducing-All-New-Amazon-Plant-B…

    • Not sure but Camelcamelcamel lists this under "Digital Accessories > Accessory" which would be 1% cashback.

      • Ah dang. But Amazon lists them as "Amazon Devices" which is confusing
        https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/24894/122742/screensho…

        • +1

Amazon listing isn't always accurate for products that could fall into different categories. There were complaints about this when Amazon didn't pay the higher cashback.

The leather cover does not sound like a device. There is a risk Amazon may pay 1% cashback instead of 20%. Perhaps @tightarse can confirm.

  • Will buying something shipped and sold by Amazon Japan, but buying it through my Aus Amazon account and app still get cashback?

    • Amazon Japan should be fine, provided the purchase is made through Amazon AU. I asked TA last month.

    • It won't count if it says sold by "Amazon Japan." That is my experience.

      • +2

@tightarse Can you please clarify? Thanks.

        • Need clarification too please.

          "Amazon Germany" included?

And is Amazon US the same as Amazon?

And if it's shipped from Amazon and sold by third party does that change eligibility?

  • Hopefully app purchased are ok as once i clicked on the link the amazon app opened on my phone

    • +2

Yes. I usually purchase from TCB app to Amazon app for cashback.

  • NAB10/CARD10 codes eligible? It automatically applied when checking out with NAB/eligible cards.

    • This will be good to know

      • Per T&Cs, I don’t reckon as uses a promo code

      • It may not be eligible for cashback. I used NAB10 and saw the $10 applied in the "Promotional credit box" at the checkout page. If you didn't manually apply the code, please check if the $10 shows up there.

For cashback to be eligible, it has been recommended to "untick the Promotional credit box" at the checkout page under Payment method > Your available balance.

        From TA:

The only balance that you can use towards payment is from your Amazon Gift Card Wallet (balance). Any Amazon credit that you receive from buy/get promos, or make-good from partial refunds etc are ineligible. Hope this helps.

        T&Cs:

Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

    • Only if you’ve already pressed redeem?

  • Can I use existing gift cards balance loaded in my amazon account and eligble for this offer? Because above terms says "19. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment" are ineligible. So is giftcard balance treated as amazon credit? Can someone advise pls?

    • +1

Existing gift card balance is fine. It is not Amazon credit.

      TA explained here.

      • +1

        Thank you

        • Amazon credits = "Promotional balances"

Click on the payment method and check that its not selected.

You'd get some of that from buying gift cards with promotional credits

  • Is there a way to check " click activity" in top cashback? Just want to make sure click is registered.

    • +3

On the TopCashback website (not app), you can check your last "click" to Amazon or any retailer in this link. The time updates with each new click.

To view all your clicks in the last 100 days, you will need to visit the missing cashback claims page on the TopCashback website (not app). Select Amazon (or the clicked retailer) on the claims page in this link. Here is also where you submit a missing cashback claim for non-tracking.

  • Does this work with Amazon Business AU?

    • Did you get an answer for this? @tightarse

  • +1

May I ask, if I order two identical items at once and choose Subscribe & Save, will only one of them be eligible for cashback?

    • +2

All quantities for that item will be eligible for cashback. I've ordered quantities of 2 to 5 for the same item and received cashback with the first Subscribe & Save.
