Anyone looking to start out and think they're going to keep at it for at least 6 months I think should pay the extra and get the flx4. Has basically everything you would need in a 2 channel club layout controller.
You could even use this at gigs, but probably should use a soundboard mixer to connect to speakers since this doesn't have balanced output connections (these are reserved for the mid to higher end controllers).
And if you decide DJing isn't for you, u should be able to sell it without losing too much.
I still have my flx4 as a backup controller after upgrading to flx10.
Yeah its a tough one, I sold up all my DJ gear a few years ago and occasionally I want something to just play with at the desk or if I have some people over - the FLX2 might be just enough for that and can easily be hidden away when not used. But agree the FLX4 is a lot more capable for not much more money
If you don't mind battle layout, the rev1 I think has been as low as $300 in the past, and you still have physical buttons for things like loops, FX, etc. I actually think the FX paddle switches are better design than what you get on club layout controllers
ATL was $389 but still a good price.
FLX-2 also $239 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DLCC47FG/
