I used to own the Decor spray bottle but switched to this and found it gives a much more even spray. Disperses better and also has a pouring option.

Yeah it can squirt in a stream if you press the lever slowly. You have to press it fast to get a steady mist.
Those eventually fail, and even if it doesn't, they will drip down the side.
I got one of these designs which is like an eyedropper + brush design which helps spread the oil without risk of overspray. Didn't buy this particular one, but just sharing a link for the design.
