Though as I get older I’m prioritising comfort more than ever. Of all my audio gear, my Airpods 4 ANC’s get a disproportional amount of playtime.
There is another $250 closed back in the Prime Day sales that is interesting, but it's not wired… nor is it solely bluetooth… maybe someone can spot it?

Good deal. Only mid-range closed-back I prefer is the Austrian Audio Hi-X60. But at this price disparity, it’s a no brainer.
FT1 are nice but better suited for small to mid-size ears. Like Jass said, probably the best option for most people.
If you want Sennheiser's sound signature in a closed back headphone, this is it. It just doesn't get better than this.
Surprised to see these on >50% sale regularly, maybe the demand is low in Australia or something.
Btw, no comparison with Momentum 4, these weren't intended for travel use and should sound a lot "better".

This is a tough call, but unless you really need the passive noise isolation I'd say the better deal is the FiiO FT1 via AliE sales (maybe $170 with coupons and cashbacks when it all comes together 2-3 times a year).
FT1 presents bass way better due to a wood fibre-based 60mm driver and is definitely more neutral out of the box. Both are comfortable and well-built, both shit on every standard closed back mentioned at this price bar the AKG K371 (when sub-$200).
The HD 620S edges out in overall resolution and separation of notes, but you're probably EQ'ing it for music and standard listening due to the tuning and HRTF choices made by Sennheiser/Senova to try and fake soundstage while keeping vocals present and increase in a sense of dynamics in the bass. So out of the box it's a DF-tuning drowning in mid-bass bloat for consumer appeasement in a store demo.
