If you already have one of the streaming sticks (chromecast / Firefox) you're better off just connecting your headphones to that.
Of course that doesn't help FTA if you also want headphones for FTA.

I have these hooked up to my computer and they are pretty good.
I see a number of people recommending Bluetooth. I feel that unless it is tightly integrated into the OS Bluetooth devices will experience some lag.Bluetooth latency is a byproduct of the complexity of compression for the hardware at each end, and the bandwidth/signal conditions. Chances are any low latency wireless technology you're thinking of is just a variant of either Bluetooth or Wifi.
Both are becoming standardised for low latency audio, it's just seems the hardware manufacturing involved is taking its sweet time between older chip SKU volume and newer chip SKU pricing.
LC3 Plus - or LC3 if quality is of less concern than energy usage - is a fairly easy means to do it as of today, and Wi-Fi audio will be the other.
