    • Meant to be mini, as in size mini.

  • Does this have memory to store music so I don't need to carry a phone?

    • no, thats openswim.

      • -1

        ok no good for me

        • +1

openswim is also on sale for 188 for that matter

Fitbit Versa 2 literally launched with the ability to load MP3 files and removed it later. Never touched Fitbit again.

        • +2

check out the robot vacuum market - a million models with one tiny feature tweaked.
I think there's two roborock models, one blows warm air on the mop heads, the other blows cool air. Different model names, different prices… then there are different names and models in different markets. it's nuts, and very hard to follow….

I normally run with a phone - who knows when you're going to want to take a photo of a platypus or echidna. But got the Garmin Epix a month or two back (upgrade from Fenix 5) and have had a couple of runs without phone, playing music via watch - it feels bit more natural….

          • @hitch: Where are you lucky enough to see platypus on runs?
A couple of places in my area are ripe for roos/wallabys and I've been lucky enough to see an echidna or two also, but never a platypus!

            • @Kiz: I live in heidelberg/melbourne - a bit upstream on the Yarra there's a good spot, Wombat Bend suspension bridge - have seen one there a few times in the time I've lived here, then also a bit further out in Westerfold's park.

              • @hitch: I'm down in the south east suburbs but have closish access to a few of the peninsula trail runs. What's weird is, that we never go out your way, however last weekend we did and we actually ended up at Wombat Bend suspension bridge with the family! I was thinking it looked like an amazing spot to go for a run one day. Next time we're out that way we will try and look for platypus :)

                • +1

@Kiz: what a coincidence! yeah definitely don't see them every time I stop there, and sometimes you have to stand and stare for 10 minutes, but every time I see one I think it's worth the wait.

                  • @hitch: Will let you know if I spot one next time :)
                    Happy running mate, enjoy!

      • Yes, I do this with my garmin forerunner 955 and open run pro 2. Highly recommended.

  • Great price! These kill the originals

Spewin, just bought a pair. Should've held off.

    • +3

Somebody gotta keep the economy going

      • +2

I bought from Amazon yesterday. Arriving today. I've bought these as well & will just send them back for the $260 price. I don't think Amazon does a price guarantee setup with refund?

        • +1

          Yeah return and reorder

        • +4

They don’t offer a guarantee, but if you open an online chat my experience has been they will provide an adjustment for the difference to the original payment method, as recently as 3 weeks ago.

  • oos?

  • +1

People that own, how well do these stay on? Could I use them while mountain biking?

    • FWIW I have gen 1 and use them for burpee drills , they do fine

    • +12

I use mine for mountain biking 3-4 days a week. They've never come off, even in a crash lol

      • Sweet. That's all I needed to hear haha.
        Thanks mate!

        • +6

No worries! The only way they'll come off is if your head comes off too. Enjoy!

  • Idiot question - how does it show to $208?
    Shows as $268 right now.
is it because i'm not prime member? if i am prime it will have further $60 off? i don't see any $60 coupons

    • Expired

      • +2

edit: take that back - for some reason it doesnt show when looking at it on safari ios phone browser, but manually searching via app/pc worked.

        must be a prime exclusive

    • +2

I can still see the coupon - I'm a prime member

    • +1

  • +1

    Good price

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Great price!!

Already use the OpenFit 2 I got from Japan everyday, but decided to grab these as well.

  • Are these any good if I also wanted to use these for phone calls, What's the mic quality like?

    • pretty good. i use it for work calls.

  • For people that use these, do you use AirPods or over the ear headphones as well, depending on the purpose at the time? Or are these good enough to use for most use-cases, aside from noise cancellation I presume?

    • i only use them (gen 1 shokz) for exercise otherwise i use airpod pros - mainly because of handover between ipad pro and phone.

    • I suppose you could with the bone conduction but…. You would have each to be connected to 2 separate audio device sources to do this… since as far as I am aware your bluetooth can only output audio to one audio device at a time

  • -1

This brand is rubbish, on my 3rd one. First 2 suffered unresponsive power buttons and was replaced via warranty. Would avoid this brand at all cost.

    • What then is your preferred brand for bone conduction headphones?

    • You must be unlucky. Works great for me and a LOT of positive reviews everywhere.

  • I don't know what I did but I managed to grab one for $196. 72 bucks discount.
I paid using zip. I clicked on one of the banners that said pay using zip and save 12 bucks and clicked redeem. but it was a hit and miss. it kept saying $ 60 promo discount. I removed the item, re added and re applied zip discount and it showed 72 discount.

  • Solid deal

  • +1

Edit: Ignore, it works on desktop, not mobile

Does anyone know why this don't work with the ZIP $12 off $150 promotion, code: ZIPPRIME?

  • +2

I use these almost every day. Great deal!

  • These are amazing (I've tried a lot of alternatives for cycling) however the charging port pops open after time, removing its water resistance.
Shokz don't have a solution other than to replace them repeatedly.

  • +2

I had the first gen afterShokz and now run these, perfect for me.
I listen to audiobooks/podcasts while walking around, they let me hear people talking to me without having to pull stuff out of my ears - quick button tap to pause your book.

I also listen to the TV or whitenoise with these while sleeping with ear plugs in, they're so small you can side sleep and not have issues. I have bigger noise cancelling headphones when the apartment living sounds get too much but you cant really sleep on your side with them, these do well.

Battery lasts forever too for its size.

    • off topic, but do you find you retain the information?

  • +2

I wear these non-stop, besides while I sleep and the few minutes a day I need to charge it. They are amazing. Easily the best earphones I've owned. Paid RRP as well. Great value at this price IMO.

  • My review:
I like these when on bike (motor/scooter) as you can hear traffic around you.

However I have real problems with calls / phone conversations even in quiet rooms, etc.

Plus it feels like they haven't updated connecting software (basically have to disable bluetooth on laptop, then can connect phone - cumbersome),

    Great return policy. Very easy.

    • +1

I have very opposite experience as you. It works great for me for making calls. In fact I use it for all work meetings and any long call. Fantastic for calling both in door and outdoor.

  • Deal is no longer available. $60 off no longer is an option

  • Massive UP vote for you OP. Thanks.
This is my best purchase of 2025 Prime sale.

  • +2

Damn missed out on the $60 off

  • omfg i just missed out

  • Thx a lot op, bought one openrun pro 2 mini, was tempted to buy during EOFY, so glad i held out :)

    • Does the $60 off offer still show for you?

      • +1

i bought while on the train home, before 5pm, only posted it after i'm home, my bad.

  • +1

I did not see the $60 off offer even with app or PC :(

  • Grabbed a pair of the Openswim pro. That $60 discount coupon makes this an impressive offer. Love my other Shokz Bone conducting Headphones.

  • No discount 4 me what is going on

  • I think OP needs to mark as expired

  • +1

I'm trying to ask to have the promotion by chat, but the guy asked me for a screenshot of the coupon. Does anybody have one ?

  • +1

expired but I'll throw in that I bought last black friday sale and they outperformed expectations. Wear daily for dogwalks but only charge ~once a week. Don't expect performance when listening to music (bass) but for audiobooks/podcasts/work calls it's brilliant.

  • +1

    Missed out :(
