    Good option for personal social media clips and to test whether you want to buy a DJI drone, but I would keep it well away from humans at that price point.

    Is each battery 12min worth for a total of 24min or 24mim each?

    If I had this in a kayak would it he able to land it in my hand if current took me to a different position then where I started?

      As per the review video, flight time was 11:15 minutes before needing a battery swap.. also, this will not be suitable for your kayaking needs, you will need something more stronger, with stronger air resistance and a return home function.. try DJI Mini 2 which is currently selling for about $460.

      In my opinion, yes it is good for the price.. However, highly recommend you look at the review video and see if it will be of use to you. I giften one to a 13teen year old couple of weeks ago and they seem to love it for what is can do.. it is just a hitech toy for them.

      Also - it is sold by Amazon, so you get 30 days to return it if you dont like it ;)

          The drone and controller are great for the price. I’m not too happy with the picture quality of the camera but I need to spend more time playing around with settings.

          I just bought the larger spare battery from Aliexpress so I’ll see how that goes. The flight time is fine with the standard battery but it does have a very aggressive battery management system that decreases the charge to 75% if the battery hasn’t been used in 3 days. So I need to remember to bump charge them before each use.

          I think for $250-$300 it’s almost unbeatable. But if it’s not on sale there are likely better alternatives.

            @Broos: What range does it have? It is current for $239 on Amazon.. looks like it may have a 3 Km range? Compared with DJI mini, that is about $460 and has a 10km range.

              @Megatron: I haven’t exceeded around 1.5km yet. That’s when I noticed the drone controls still work but the video transmission becomes quite laggy.
