Dr Martens as pull on boots might be a bit of a contradiction in terms for some people but they look like decent boots at this price point and customer ratings seem positive.
These Chelsea boots are built on rugged tract outsole with all our core DNA in place: yellow stitching and a scripted heel loop. Wyoming is a rugged leather with a subtle grain and oily finish.   Good price for Docs but note that these are not Goodyear welted (like the 2976 are). The yellow stitching on the sides is purely cosmetic.

  I wore these for about a year until the strap broke. Just be aware that when they're new and not stretched in, they are impossible to put on. How hard would it have been to add a second front strap to pull on?
