Billie's banger album at its lowest price since launch/pre-order price it seems.
At $54.99 it's the cheapest I've found online:
$99 @ JB HiFi
$85.00 @ The Vinyl Store
$74.99 @ The Sound of Vinyl
$68.00 @ Dutch Vinyl
$63.99 @ uMusic

$55 for a record is… not really a bargain.
Yeah hardly a deal for a mass market single disk.
Unless you can find this particular record cheaper elsewhere then it kind of is.
Disagree. If something is wildly overpriced and then its price is reduced to just fairly overpriced then that's not a bargain in my view. You may have a different view of course.
Don't you have to return some videotapes?
Wouldnt that be the same thought process in every single apple product "bargain"? Just because you dont think a product is worth its value, doesnt mean its not a bargain.
@rogue-86: Nope. I mean, it's literally against the law in Australia to artificially inflate prices and then have a 'sale' at the real price, and it's not a bargain when businesses do that.
I would say a bargain is when something can be obtained for less than its perceived value, not less than an arbitrarily high price.
@caitsith01: Totally agree with you.
But the ozbargain rules are (unfortunately, in my opinion) much more simplistic.
Value is not taken into account at all.
sadly not much in the way of vinyl deals this year
Every now and then there are some crackers on Amazon - I recently got Master of Puppets for $35 from memory.
I also find you can find some bargains for new vinyl on eBay.
last prime day i ended up with 5 or so records all around $30-40. i've actually never considered looking at ebay for new stuff
Check out Rarewaves on eBay, they're a big operation in the UK and US and often have relatively hard to find stuff at decent prices. I buy most of my stuff from them these days, with local record stores thinking Imma pay $65 for a single LP from Warner…
Wow at those local prices .. I remember before covid I used to score records on Amazon etc for $25-$35 .. oh boy it's different now generally. I've gone back to CDs actually purely because of the prices (I love physical media - especially for music)
but i sold my turntable already, better spend some time on watching some shows
That is pre-order price sir.
