  • Awesome thanks for the deal. However, it's a shame that 2 x 1kg packs don't qualify for free shipping :( I can't justify paying extra for 4 x 500g packs to ship the same amount of beans.

Morning @moza terrific to know you think the deal is "awesome!"

Feedback duly noted. A lot of people find smaller 500g bags more convenient to share and keep fresh, but I understand different strokes and all…We do offer $0 click and collect if you're anywhere near Moorabbin, VIC? The 4x500g free shipping was just an example of how to unlock free shipping for those interested in this feature. 4x500g bags to get free shipping is not the intended feature of this deal, it's just how the pricing has worked out in this specific instance and the pricing has been the same for these coffees for a little while now :)

Could always just go 3 x 1kg and freeze one or two bags

    • It depends if you work out further ahead with shipping.

  • Thanks for your recommendation last time, just ordered another kilo of Colombia Cauca SO, I'm a big fan. Works great for espresso or with milk. For this price, it's unbeatable.

    • How wonderful to hear @Joehax thank you so much for those terrific compliments and your recent order with us, it really does mean a lot!

Very happy my recommendation was a win for you :)

  • We need some good offers on
Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Organic Single Origin.

    • Duly noted :)

Looking for some good certified organic beans , free of pesticides and other things that don't belong in coffee beans

    • They used to have Organic options.
      I think Organic SO

Hey @MrBillions appreciate the double check, always better to ask than wonder!

Currently our Swiss Water Process and Peru Single Origins are both Organic. However, I wouldn't get too hung up on the certifications specifically speaking to the world of coffee, simply because generally speaking specialty grade coffee is grown following organic practices. As coffee is porous using questionable chemicals would likely have a negative impact on flavour and flavour has a significant impact on price so it would be counterproductive for farmers trying to grow high quality coffee to use harmful chemicals. Unlike a lot of agricultural industries, the "Organic Certification" doesn't have a high value in the coffee world, quality of flavour is what really translates to higher prices, so a lot of farmer's don't see a financial incentive in paying for a certification that won't really increase the price they can sell their coffee for. Of course other agricultural industries are difference and can result in notably higher prices to farmers for Organic Certifications :)

        p.s. appreciate the answer assist @freedomofspeech :)

  • Saw you have half strength blends.. but wonder if these 2 (or any other coffee really) can just be cut with (your) decaf to make it half strength?

    • Hey @Charon terrific question!

It sure can, our Half Strength Full Flavour range is just based on the flavours we find to pair really well with our Swiss Water Process Decaf, but you're welcome to make your own blend with our coffees :)

    • I’m doing that already with MTM or BSP, and mixing with SWP decaf. A cup of each into a dish and a good tumble around to mix throughly, then pop it into the grinder. Works a treat! I’m thinking I’ll try other coffees, too, now that I’ve got a good supply in the freezer.

  • Hey, wanted to ask about the packaging.
Really loved the blue and green packs and was a little sad to see you go back to brown paper bags.

Hey @freedomofspeech music to my ears to know our new custom bags are a real win for you!!!

It's just an temporary switch to the plain bags due to a shipment curveball. We're still dispatching custom printed 500g bags, but unfortunately a shipment which is currently a few weeks late has forced a quick manoeuvre back to the plain 1kg bags until the shipment arrives, the most recent update has it set to arrive Monday this week, but that still hasn't happened yet. Myself and the Lime Blue Team have our fingers crossed the shipment will arrive sooooooonnnnnnn :)

      • Perfect thanks for the update 🙏🙌

        • :)

  • Cheers, ordered. First time trying 😊

Amazing @spackbace thank you so much for placing your first terrific order with us, it really does mean so much and is an opportunity I promise we won't take for granted :)

  • still working my way through my last order, great coffee

Fantastic @wallet72 thank you so much for your recent order with us and sharing that terrific vote of confidence, mean a lot :)

      • you know, I'm a bit worried I might run out… I better place another order :)

        • +1

Amazing, absolute music to my ears, thank you so much!!!

When it comes to the good stuff, it's far too risky to risk running out :)

  • Oh wow, so many sales and the freezer is full! After storing 6Kg of beans I was told by Mrs C that I need to stop buying more. Even with forward orders we’re still not consuming enough to catch up with supply. :D

At least I’ve beat the price rises by a few months!

    • +1

same, still have beans from 2 years ago in freezer, I now stopped buying in bulk and get a small amount each month, fresh and different variety and I enjoy that approach better, might cost a bit more but what's the point of having a freezer full of beans, might end up costing you more in the long run that way

    • @Chazzozz sounds like you need to throw a coffee party of two haha this is especially true for what I've got planning for not too far down the track later this year!

  • Hi, first time customer. If I purchase today, am I able to click and collect tomorrow? Thanks

    • Hey @rzkika we'd love you to plsce your first order with us today!

Tomorrow is always looking a tad hectic, so no promises but if we can make for you we will. Once you place your order, please send a reply email with the request :)

      • Awesome, will do. thanks

        • :)

Would be great if ground coffee was included. Any chance of that in a future deal?

    • would also love a ground option. Would be nice to be able to try a different blend while my grinder is full of another.

  • Hi @LimeBlueCoffee - I'm just finishing my last bag from you.
I can't see what beans are in the Apple Crumble blend. The website mentions the type, height grown, process… but not the origins. I know some roasters change what's in their blends, but I can't see how you can say this is grown 1800m and not be consistent with the beans included.
Can you let us know what's in the blend?
    Thanks!

Hey @jazzninja appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you so much for your recent order with us, it really does mean a lot!!!

You've asked fair questions and I hear what you're saying loud and clear. However, we generally don't comment on our blend components simply because as you've mentioned components can change over time due to seasonality/availability, but what we strive to focus on is matching the flavour of each blend across changing components. If altitude will change in the future then we'd time a change on the site so people ordering would see different altitudes etc…There are a number of locations that grow coffee and share similar growing climates and altitudes. For example, Colombia and Peru both grow coffee and are right next to each other. The quality of our blends is on par with our Single Origins, but we really want flavour to be the focus of our blends. We utilise our rotating range of Single Origins to highlight both flavours and unique nuances of different growing regions around the world :)

  • The new branding on the bags that popped up recently was awesome.

Have you considered offering a subscription service? Always good prices and I've never been disappointed with whatever I've received and enjoy the SO variety, so I'd be happy to put it on autopilot.

    • Hey @orangecarpet-22 woohoo that's such wonderful feedback to receive, thank you so much!!!

A while back we did have a Single Origin subscription adventure called our Surprise Mystery Flight. We have recently relooked at bring back some sort of subscription offering, but we're not quite over the line back, more thinking and exploring tech is required, fingers crossed we can bring it back at some point in the future :)
