Seems to be a pretty good price for this set. If you can find other eligible stuff from Amazon US to add up to $100 you can get another $10 off. It's how I found this set in the first place. I was trying to find something to add to a separate purchase. There seems to be $10 off $100 for each separate Amazon region. For whatever reason the qualifying items search button doesn't work so it's a bit of a task to find other eligible stuff.

Bourne Complete Collection - $46.62 Delivered

How much was Bourne yesterday ?

    • +1

Might want to ask Bandit, he's the only one I know that was Born Yesterday

  • +6

Purchased, thanks. First decent deal I've seen this sale (I try to target $10-15 per 4K film)

    • Disney is laughing at you. They've ruined the market for all 4k buyers regardless, even when they are not Disney films

  • +11

"Get some rest Pam. You look tired"

Playing extreme ways music by Moby.

    • +1

The harmony of screen writing and script writing for that scene made me very happy.

  • I am pretty sure the Ultimate Bourne Collection were the first blurays I ever bought.

  • I only need Jason Bourne (2016) to complete my collection!

  • +7

    Jesus Christ that's Jason Bourne!

  • Good buy, I got it for just a shade over $50 during Black Friday promotions last year.

Another group of movies that I've purchased several times over the years, the "original" trilogy individually, Jason Bourne some years later. Then the trilogy + Legacy in a box set collection. Then the original trilogy individually on bluray… and finally the complete set in 4K last year.

To this day I've still not watched "Legacy" and have no desire to. I can't stand Jeremy Renner.

    • +2

Ironic given your username and how he played Hawkeye (which honestly was such a useless character).

      • I find him to be a charisma vacuum (he was also the worst aspect of the Mission Impossible movies that he was in, especially Ghost Protocol).

    • +1

Legacy is really quite good if you watch it with an open mind. It's basically just a different story set in the Bourne universe, and compliments the originals to me, rather than trying to replace or reboot them (even though it clearly failed to justify further spin-offs). I've not seen Renner in much else that I can think of, but quite liked his work in Legacy. Matt Damon's Bourne is very 'cold' intentionally so from what I remember, Renner's performance was somewhat in a similar vain. I went in with kinda low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

It's better than the 5th movie personally. As a big fan of the originals, number 5 was a massive let down, particularly given it took ages for Damon and Greengrass to come back to the series and (if I remember right) the release was delayed a few times.

      • The 5th movie doesn't exist (even though I saw it at the cinema, ended up buying the dvd and collecting it via the 4K set lol).

It doesn't exist in the same way that Die Hard's 4 & 5, Everything after Star Wars Episode VI and Police Academy 7 don't exist!

  • Is it region locked?

  • Of all the sequels to have violated the naming conventions of its previous sequels, Jason Bourne is still by far the stupidest.

    • +3

      Should be spelled Ja5on Bourne

      • +8

        2 Jason 2 Bourne

    • The Bourne Jason

      • Bourne, Jason Bourne

    • +2

I watched Jason Bourne (2016) thinking it was the first movie… then I discovered it was the last movie. I guess I don't need to watch the series now that I know how it ends.

  • +4

From memory, the 4k versions are pretty crap and not really any upgrade over the blu rays versions.

    • Yep, this. Especially the first movie. Unfortunately, with Netflix / Apple looking to buy the franchise, it's unlikely to get the proper remaster it needs as well….

  • +1

    Six-disc set includes:

    The Bourne Identity (2002)
    The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
    The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
    The Bourne Legacy (2012)
    Jason Bourne (2016)

    I counted 5. What's the 6th disc about?

    • Probably extras?

    • +1

      you forgot.

      The Bourne and Furious
      The Bourne and Furious 3
      2 Bourne 2 Furious
The Bourne and Furious: Tokyo drift
      Bourne and Furious
      Bourne 7
