I was considering replacing old Décor pantry storage with these so got a couple to try. These were good but I found the square shape too awkward to grab out of the cabinet. Ended up not buying anymore.

Sistema made in NZ. Whereas I think Decor is made in Australia.

      • Explains the square approach?

  • +6

My experience with Decor is really bad. The plastic lunch boxes keeps shedding plastics after washes. Not safe for keeping any food. Would not recommend and have stopped buying it altogether.

Sistema on the other hand is much better.

However, replacing all possible plastic boxes or items wherever possible with glass or wood or steel.

    • Any glass, wood or steel containers you recommend?

  • Great for storage my puppy's kebble.

  • It’s great. I use it to store my teabags.

    • What size did you get? And how many tea bags? Thanks

      • +1

The one the OP posted. Does 200 bags.

  • The 1.4 litre square version is also available on Amazon at 57% off.

  • Pity the same higher discount isn't available across the range, some of the smaller ones are only matching Woolies price, rather than being cheaper than like the linked larger ones.

But yeah, these do the job for me with pantry organisation and seem to keep stuff fresh enough.

The target version of these are cheaper and work just as good

The ones with the push-in lid with white trimming? Last time I looked in Target I couldn't find them.

I did buy some of those ages ago to store some keyboard switches in, so not sure how they do with food. :D But yeah, they do seem to seal pretty well.

*Edit. Oh. I just checked The Target site, I forgot they got taken over by Kmart or whatever and now sell Anko, which does have a direct copy of the Sistema ones. No experience with them. Pity they no longer do the old style ones.
