Casdon Toys' Officially licensed toy Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner with accessible dirt tray, simulated cyclone action, easy release attachments and a long short nozzle.

Not a Prime Day sale item.
Has been this price since March this year at Amazon, otherwise has always been around $49. Stores like Big W haven't had it this low either.
Prior to March this year camels it wasn't discounted much and was this price once in 2022 and 2021 each. Maybe Amazon want to offload stock.

The price went back up yesterday to $49 and back $29 so wonder it won't last long.

Wish it was a lightweight vacuum that actually worked - am considering just giving my toddler an old dyson to do some housework rather than pretend play!

    • It's lightweight. And actually works for very light.

      • Oh it actually does pick up dust/debris - bought!

        • +2

Sorry sorry no no. It doesn't. Can't edit the comment. Just makes noise. And had rotating debris that makes it look real to kids.

I wanted to say makes very light noise*.
The packaging says "with working suction" but I guess it's just referring to the air it generates inside for the beans to swirl around making it look realistic.

          • @archieduh: I thought so too but there's this in the description:

The working suction picks up small bits and there's a debris compartment to empty it all out. Guess will find out if the description is false!

            • @SevenSmurfs: Whoa. Now I am curious too.
I thought that's what it did but m too old and the kids said it didn't.
But even as is it was better than I expected.

            • @SevenSmurfs: I think mine may have a manufacturing defect. On pressing the button to open the debris compartment, it's lid opens but there is another "lid" which doesn't open.
Initially made sense to me as this way the fake debris stays put + the kids get full pretend play experience.
But now looking at the pictures and instruction manual, it shows when the lid opens the fake debris should fall out for them to be able to suck it back in.
Also thought maybe they may have designed some slit adults can remove depending on what they want (should the debris stays put or fall out) but nothing in the manual suggests that.

              • @archieduh: It does work but very weak- hardly does anything on carpet and not much more on hard floors. Id just consider it a toy that doesnt actually work. Its still good though, my kid always pulls it out when we vacuum

            • @SevenSmurfs: Have one and can confirm it does suction up! It is nowhere near the strength of an actual dyson, but there is always a little ball of fluff to empty out.

              • @Dexterdog: For me, pressing the button to open the debris lid does open the lid but the container is sealed with another plastic.
Is there a step to remove it? How does one empty debris? Wondering if mine has a manufacturing defect and that plastic wall shouldn't be there.

  • I have a camelcamelcamel alert for this product, it has regularly dropped down to 29 and back up over the last few weeks

    • Agree and prior to this, it hasn't dropped it cheaper since 2021. I assumed there will be post for it but wasn't. Ordered and my grandson loves it.

    • What price are you waiting for?

      • I ordered it after it went back to 49 and back. Delivered same day as I have Prime.

        • +1

No I'm asking 3252900sl. He has it on Camels and watches it regularly go down to 29 and back up so what's his trigger price?

          • +1

@King Steuart: my desired price was 30.45 when I set up the notification, but have been too lazy to adjust it lower. I guess I should set it for sub 29 given that its hit 29 so frequently.

Great deal! Cheaper than buying an aftermarket battery for my V8

I bought this Dyson toy vacuum for my daughter 4 years ago when she was 6 years old and she got offended. It's probably my fault, I was a little naive back then. Now with a Youtube education, I understand this is not a 'Woke' gift and as a recent 'Woke' Youtube graduate, I fully understand now why my daughter got offended. As a father, I try my best to keep learning so I can always be a good father to my daughter. My son who is 1 year younger loved the toy vacuum cleaner more and didn't get offended by it and played with it almost everyday for years so the money wasn't totally wasted.

What has cleanliness got to do with being Woke or not?

      • -1

I don't know bro, as a Father, I keep learning about this 'Woke' thing, the narrative keeps changing every few months, hard to keep up but I try to keep the girls and women in my family happy.

          Take care man

      • You don't understand why a girl would be offended by receiving a tool for household chores as a gift?

        • +2

It's a wonder it wasn't made in rainbow colours.
Would a boy be "offended" if he was given a toy spanner set? fm

    • Why are people negging such a witty comment?

  • Appears to be out of stock already.

  • +1

    gen5detect absolute complete or this??

    • this…

  • Back in Stock!

    • It's showing up back as $49.99 for me now.

      • Yes the price keeps on fluctuating but till yesterday was showing up for $29 most of the time, so maybe is expired now.

        • Yeah the price history graph for the last 6 months on Camel looks pretty crazy.
