First time post, be kind!

Been researching a ton of robovac’s and haven’t seen this one posted. Was torn between this and the QRevo L, hopefully made the right call going with this one.

Highly recommended by several YouTubers.

  • The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat is the same price. I think it's a better option IMO.

    • Why is that - just the heat or something else?

      • L10S PUH advantages:
        Warm water mop washing
        Way smaller base station
        Shorter robot height
More updates and better navigation efficiency

The L20 has higher battery capacity (maybe an extra 30 mins run time), it has LEDs to light up in the dark and it can leave the mops at the base. If these things are important to you, then the L20 is what you should go for. For me, the L10S PUH is a better option. The LED's are not required on the L10S PUH because I believe it uses laser lights for obstacle avoidance.

I must stress, I do not own either of them so this is only from my own research prior to ordering the L10S PUH.

    • Hmm I wasn’t sure which was better. Where'd you see the point about updates and better navigation?

      https://vacuumwars.com/ultimate-dreame-robot-vacuum-buyers-g…

“Like the Pro Ultra Heat but…
      Detaching mop heads
      Built in LED
      No hot water mop washing”

      • Well, to be fair, the updates are probably similar since it's the same brand but the navigation efficiency I think it's better on the L10S-PUH. In the dark though, the L20 would be better at navigating due to the LEDs. If detaching mops is what you are after then the L20 makes sense. Bottom line, they are both good machines so it comes down to what's important for your home.
For me, navigation is important and the warm water wash, so I went for the L10S.

  • +1

What made you choose this over QRevo L?

    • keen to know the same

      • See below

    • +2

Just from my research competing both models.

      1. Think the value is better, L20 often falls under the higher price point bracket.
      2. Vacuum Wars rated it higher overall
      3. The colour matches my house better.
      4. Watched a ton of videos, but honestly seems like you can’t go wrong with either!

Overall I don’t own any, at the point I’m not sure which is best but hope that helps.

      • thanks, from the videos you watched - which one has better mapping feature, obstacle avoidance and app?

        • +1

Trying to not be bias.. but

Mapping feature: would be similar, both using Lidar
Obstacle: 100% Dreame, has a camera to help
App: Pretty similar, some people prefer Roborock but Just A Dad on YouTube prefers the Dreame app

      • Great thanks for sharing mate. Enjoy yours when get it

      • Just an update. L20 is loud & a bit old.

Decided to just stick to Q Revo L to play it safe. You can’t really go wrong between them all, but I’m leaning towards

        For $800..
        Q Revo L > L10S Ultra Heat > L20

        • So you did purchase L20 Ultra? Or you purchased QRevoL?

          I have QRevoL now.
          Obstacles not so smart,
battery cant run full house in one charge. Other than that all good.

Wanna listen from others who got L20 Ulta.

  • Checked Dreame websiteand appears to have 3 years warranty? Considering the amount of moving parts i feel warranty made be a major factor.

    • Yeah, that's an extra 12 months to the L10.

  • Ended up picking this one up. Have a Dreame D10 Plus which hasn't given me any issues for the past two years.

    • Any reviews? Happy with yours?

      • Yeah very happy. Definitely an upgrade on the D10 Plus. The mopping is significantly better, and gets to the edges really well (does miss a tiny bit in the corner). Vacuuming is very good too, especially with the upgraded tricut brush I bought off AliExpress to deal with those pesky long hairs.

Has a huge battery too so comfortably does the whole house.

Obstacle avoidance is very good I've found. Hasn't sucked up any cables or anything our little one leaves around.

        • Great one mate. I have QRenoL which sucked in my usb cable to the main brush. May aim for L20 ultra on the next sales as my 2nd robot.

          • +1

@stopBeingMean: It's not going to be perfect, especially with things like USB cables, but it's been OK so far.
