There are a number of good wireless headphones on Amazon at the moment.
I am not an audiophile and I want something that will last.
Any recommendations?
Pros or cons?
Currently looking at
Bose
Sennheiser
Akg N9

Unfortunately no JB here.
Only Harvey Norman and they only have one Sennheiser. No Bose.
The listed brands are around half price on Amazon.
Would probably get Sony but no sale as yet.
You’ve come to the right place. The answer here is to have at least one of each.
But in seriousness, Without model numbers or prices I think you can’t go wrong with Bose, especially if it’s on sale.
Half price on Amazon :D
If you are on a budget, my wife has Soundcore Space Ones and they are very good
Is your wife going to share them?
Everything is subjective in the music world, go to a store and try the headphones out.

Any experience with durability?
Sennheiser at least have a 2 year warranty
from what i know.
Bose, had that issue with the on/off switch failing. you can't turn them off, they turn themselves back on every time and drain the battery. (normal Quiet comfort design ones such as QC35, QC45, QuietComfort, not the newer looking ones)
Sony has many reported issue of hinge snapping, on XM4, and more so XM5. XM6 seems to have addressed that with a much tougher looking design, but it's $$$. my ULT Wear hinge just snapped, but I glued it back together. I have a habit of fixing things instead of junking or returning.
Sennheiser, well the entry tier one I linked is all plastic, but so are many others (Sony, Bose). all plastic is great for comfort because of the light weight.
AKG havent heard much about this one, not sure if N9 but I did hear one of their wireless models did have faulty issues, needed to be returned. but apparently not easy.
Do you use Apple devices?
No
if you post your state and suburb someone can recommend a store nearby. There must be a hi fi store. Unless you live regional
Only have a small Harvey Norman
then watch alot of comparison and review videos on youtube. Buy from amazon as you can return them much easier. Other stores probably wont accept returns
Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S3.
Ive got the S2 and they're fantastic. I'm a bit of an audiophile.
This is a personal choice thing. I’d suggest going to a headphone store or jbhifi and try them out
The new Sony xm6 are supposed to be good too
Or xm4 if they are out of budget
Then keep an eye on ozbargain for deals
