Posting this as I grabbed one and have been very impressed with the performance.
Looks to be second cheapest it's been recently, well worth it in my opinion.
Night performance is really good, I have an 8 camera setup with the 5mP Fixed POE cameras, this ones colour performance at night is better than the IR performance of the others by a decent margin.
The tracking seems to work really well, still playing around with sensitivities but the AI detection also seems very accurate. Overall seems to be a pretty decent step up from the fixed POE cameras in every aspect. Footprint isn't too gigantic either, a couple of reviews on youtube. Also handy that it can be mounted to soffits rather than having to be wall mounted.

Yes it does. It has two lenses, one is a zoomed in view which you set and then the other is a wide angle with no zoom.
No, it does not have a proper zoom. It uses digitally zoom to follow the object with the second lens. It's the same as you zooming in afterwards when you watch the footage. I was wondering about that too and had to do some research, because most people don't seem to have a clue when they review cameras.

That's only half right.
The camera has two fixed-focus lenses, one of which is a fixed telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom. The camera can blend the images from the two lenses to move anywhere between 1x and 6x using a combination of digital and optical zoom - this is exactly the same technology that's used in most modern multi-lens phone camera systems.
Do you know if they're compatible with the likes of Dahua hub? I have a POE dahua system and been on the lookout for a POE PTZ cam.
It supports ONVIF and RSTP, so it should be at least partially compatible.
This is a nice to have camera for daytime use, especially if you have a corner block where you can mount and get the best use out of. I have a cx810 on the front of my rectangular block and more often than not use that over the trackmix due to the night time colour capability. The trackmix also doesn't do a great job of moving from tracking a car, to tracking a person getting out of that car and going to your door for instance.
Odd that you've had that experience, part of what impressed me was mine did exactly that yesterday with a parcel delivery.
I've read it a few times across different forums, including the reolink one.
Great cam for the right usages, but routinely sooo much cheaper on AliExpress.
Check previous Reolink deals…
I am looking for something like this with dual tele/wide but would prefer something dome based to replace a VIP vision 3250 dome camera outside.
Any suggestions?
ThanksI 2nd @Uncle Rico here, brilliant cam, but this isn’t a bargain price for this camera. Sub-$150 is decent pricing.
For reference, I grabbed one last month (June 2025) for $82USD (~$125 AUD) From AliExpress, shipped in 3 days from the Aussie warehouse to my regional QLD address.
Plenty of Reolink reviews on YouTube - TheHookup has the best reviews IMHO - https://youtube.com/@thehookup
Here’s one from < 1 year ago reviewing lots of Reolink models:

Thanks
Damn, that is a good deal. I'm happy to pay a bit more for amazon, but not that much!
wow and you didnt post! I'd be happy to pay $125AUD
Yeh I prolly should have - oops. This was before 13% TCB cashback too. Might have included ~$15 of AE cashback though too. Can’t remember.
Will do next time!
All good! I was about to pull the trigger on this but because of what you've said Ill hold off for a $60 saving 🤣
AliExpress pricing seems to be lot higher than current Amazon pricing. Is that usually the case?
@theSavNot usually no. Not in my experience anyway, I’m also seeing AliExpress being cheaper today too.
I see these Trackmix prices today:
Amazon:
$199.99 - $20 discounts = $179AliExpress:
$192.56 - $23 coupon = $169.56The above ain’t including any cashback from TCB/SB/CR. TCB currently has 15% AE cashback. Which brings the price down to ~$145 after Cashback on AliExpress.
How heavy is this.. Can this be mounted on the eaves?
Yes it can be.
1.2kg according to the website.
It’s certainly got a bit of heft, so if you were only attaching it under a soffit and can’t hit a stud, you may need to reinforce. Plenty of examples online of people who’ve added a strip of timber under the eave to brace and add support.
Does this have proper zooming in with tracking?
