Hi Terra Australis, We appreciate your input and understand that pricing can vary across suppliers and regions. However, our prices reflect not just the diamond itself, but also the quality of craftsmanship, certified sourcing, customer service, and the finished ring as a whole, which includes warranty, resizing support, secure shipping, and after-sales care.

While loose stones from some resellers may seem cheaper, they often don’t include certification, ethical assurances, or a professional setting. Also, a comparison between a loose 4ct stone and a set, finished ring may not reflect the full picture.

That said, we always strive to offer the best value in Australia, and we’re happy to price match on comparable certified products. If you find the exact same specifications at a lower price with a trusted seller, we’ll do our best to beat it.

        Lab-Grown 3ct Diamond

        Are you for real?!

        • Yes, absolutely — we’re 100% real 😊

All our lab-grown diamonds are ethically sourced and come with certification from internationally recognized gemological labs like IGI (International Gemological Institute) or GIA. Certification verifies the carat, cut, clarity, color, and overall quality of the diamond.

      • I will retract my negative. All the very best with your business.

        • We genuinely appreciate your willingness to retract the negative rating. misunderstandings happen, we're truly grateful for the opportunity to make things right.

  • This would look great on de cat.

  • Lightbox in US is in closing down sale, it costs less than $1k AUD to get a 3 ct. To me this js not a great deal.

    • All out of stock at light box

you can still get the 2Ct necklace and extract it out after. that is less than $600

        • While extracting a diamond from a necklace can be a workaround, do keep in mind that those stones often lack certification and may be lower in clarity and color.

At Pear Jewels, our diamonds are IGI-certified, with D–F color, VVS–VS clarity, and set in 14K/18K solid gold with premium craftsmanship.

      • Lightbox is indeed offering clearance prices as part of their U.S. closing sale, but it’s important to note a few key differences:

Diamond Quality: Lightbox diamonds are generally not certified and are capped at VS clarity and G–J color. At Pear Jewels, we offer IGI-certified diamonds with higher clarity (VVS–VS) and superior D–F color range.

Setting & Craftsmanship: Our rings are handcrafted using 14K or 18K solid gold, with premium detailing, including hidden halos and cathedral settings, not mass-produced mountings.

if you find a comparable IGI-certified ring at a lower price in Australia, we’ll beat it.

We always encourage buyers to compare like-for-like specs, certification, and overall value before making such an important purchase.

    • no individual certification and reviews suggest poor quality, if you are not fussy they are cheap though

      • While not all items come with individual certification by default, we do provide it upon request for an additional $100. Many of our premium pieces already include IGI certification. We aim to offer great value without compromising on quality.

advertising factory made and putting a highprice tag on a website known for cheapskates and bargain hunters…

Either OP has some serious cojones, or has a screw loose, one of the two

    • we get that our pricing might seem high at first glance, especially on a deal-focused platform. But there’s a big difference between mass-produced jewelry and what we offer.

Our pieces are crafted using IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds, D–F color, VVS–VS clarity, and set in 14K/18K solid gold with custom settings like hidden halos and cathedral mounts — not factory-standard fittings.

  • Why are lab grown so expensive

    • Because people will buy. As cheaper than real.

  • You never responded to my last private message.

    • We try our best to all messages from our end, but it’s possible something got missed or didn’t go through. Could you please specify which message you're referring to? I’ll be happy to check with my team again and get back to you ASAP.

  • I'd advise to stay away. They don't hold their value. If you want to buy something, consider antique jewellery at auctions or a non-diamond, eg ruby or sapphire.

    • +1

Lab-grown diamonds aren’t for everyone, and you're right, like most modern jewelry, they typically don’t hold long-term resale value. However, many of our customers choose lab-grown diamonds for their ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and the ability to own a high-quality, certified diamond at a more accessible price.

We also agree that antique jewelry and natural gemstones like rubies and sapphires have unique appeal and historical value; it really comes down to personal taste and purpose.

We appreciate your input and always encourage buyers to explore what truly suits their needs and values.
