The box has wheels built in… BUT theyre almost always broken if you're not the first to handle it.
Most boxes are ;)
Don’t worry, I got it 😆
yeh even with the wheels its so awkward to move around, 10/10 would buy again though
Love to see one of these returned to the store because you didn't like it.
FYI not sure if these are chemical free (Oeko-Tex 100 standard) or similar
Better/cheaper options off Amazon with free delivery.
How would the warranty work? Where would you drop it off?
@cumova: For returns - Either squeeze it back into the box or wrap it in a roll of gladwrap. Then just stuff it in your local auspost letterbox. Usually there's a flap you can pull down to post larger items.
Purchased one
Dam I'm still rocking a zzzattler mattress from years ago, these look like a good replacement
Also have a few zzzattler in the home - overrated IMHO they sag after a year's use (less? I don't recall for sure)_ and we are not heavy-set people. The "firm" version that we have is not that firm at all.
Anyone with first hand experience? A surprising amount of good reviews for something so cheap
Interested any first hand reviews on these
Better in what way?
Genuine question, not trying to be a smartarse. Considering purchasing a mattress, so looking around.
I have a non-spring one from amazon, very cheap. it's awesome. springs are a trap in a cheap mattress
I think these ones have comfort toppers, so theyre actually quite nice.
ALDI usually have high quality stuff too, so I believe you
No King size bed this time around.
I did buy one a few years back and was able to return it.
The mattress was reasonable overall (a bit soft for my liking), and there wasn't much support at the edges of the mattress.
There was also a bit of a strong chemical smell.
I also tried a couple of the other ones that have the return policy. How did you return it? Fully unrolled - that must have been hard. But it is their policy to accept returns.
It was too hard to roll back up.
I folded the mattress in half, used some cloth string to tie it up.
I folded down the seats in the car and squeezed it in (with great difficulty).
I politely asked them at the register how to return it and took the car around to the Aldi loading dock and was met there.
We then went inside to process the return at the register.
The staff were a bit surprised, but fine with it.
How do these mattress compare with ZZZ Atelier on ebay?
Some of the issues worth noting with these mattresses… here's my actual review:
Incorrect measurements, sleeps warm, no edge strength – Review after more than a year's use. Firstly, the sizing is wrong. Both the single and king single are short… a good 8-10cm short. Meaning that either the kid's pillow falls down through the gap between mattress and bed head, or their toys do at the foot. Then there's the sidewall, or lack thereof. While they're small, it's not that much of an issue. But as they get bigger, they'll start rolling off the sides. And as for sitting on the edge, as a parent, I'm almost touching the frame. Comfort wise seems to be ok. Only issue here may be that it sleeps quite warm. Again, ok for a small kid with not much meat on their bones yet, and in the often cooler southern states like Vic. Overall, not overly impressed, and wish we'd taken them back when noticing the size. Only good point was buying then on special at the time.Does anyone know where these are made?
Few things to note on these, they are very heavy and awkward to move around from the store. BUT the bed its self is great.
