Maggi is the absolute bottom of the instant noodle totem pole

it is also 50c a pack…cant have everything i guess.

    • I had some Maggi noodles with 2.3g of protein per 100g. They are so, so bad.

What's your go to? (Curious, not negging) Chicken Maggi is an old favourite

The Westernised Maggi is absolute rubbish, the ones imported at the Asian shop are high level. Kari (Curry) has been my absolute staple for the past 25 years. Oddly enough, i saw my Woolies selling just that one Asian import this week.

My favourite and absolute go to is Assam Laksa. It was the first instant noodle I ever had when I was a kid and has remained my absolute favourite.

        • I did have a bout of nostalgia and got one pack before, but Kari holds a special place in my heart haha. I used to really like Oriental flavour too but it seems to be discontinued.

      • The Kari is part of the Woolies half-price sale. Picked some up. Easily the best of the 2 minute range imo.

        • When i saw it, was 2 for $8. But its usually under $4 at the asian shops anyway. Still quite convenient though if they stock it.

      • KARI LETUP~!!!

    • worse than Aldi, Colesworth brand?

    • Savage.

If you have an indian store nearby, pick the indian version. It tastes delicious. It is pricier than the ones we get in supermarkets here, but tastes great.

      • I tried the Maggi masala. The noodles go from uncooked to mushy. If you want a similar flavour, try the malaysian Kari flavour.

    • gotta get the ones made in Asia.

Amazon AU price-matching Woolworths half price this week.

    • Beating it with S&S

      • 🎵 Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it, no one wants to be defeateddddd

  • Has anyone tried the laksa ones? Not many stores seem to stock them

    • +2

I'm a big fan, but I had assumed they stopped making them because they're so hard to find. Very mild compared to "real" laksa, so YMMV.

  • whats worse - these or the ones in coles and woolies for 2 bucks for 5 packs? https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/336684/ind…

eugh don't buy this …just stick to Indomie brand…

  • In stock, previously bought early 2024, changed delivery to my house, suddenly "Temporarily out of stock", change back to Amazon locker and back in stock. I'm shocked

  • BS laksa. Yeah… nah…

  • Used to love Maggie Chicken as a kid

  • Growing up, the first instant noodle we had was Maggie. Loved it!
Today its the worst! Mushy, cooked too quickly, small/shrunk.

Lots of other brands including Chinese ones. A lot more satisfying.
