Should use a simple LLM to reformat titles tbh. Easy QOL improvement

  • Would these be suitable for a digital piano and/or digital drumkit?

    • Yeah , could add a bass if you want some thump, 5 inch drivers never going to have much low end, but these are punchy monitors

    • Definitely better off using studio monitors with instruments, rather than home audio speakers. So yes to a keybaord/ digital piano.
I can't speak on digital drumkits, but I don't see why these wouldn't also be good. You'll get improvements going to larger monitors like the Rokit 8, but depends what your aims are, and the room itself

KRK are good but not that good…

      • Yeah you're never going to see these in a professional music studio, but for home use, they are great value for what you get

        • Totally incorrect bud.. I know of about 6 studios with them in.

Here is bliss n ESO with 3 platinum albums behind him with krk 5".

Wether you go Yamaha or krk it doesn't really matter. I've also seen the 8" in bliss n ESO studio too.

Yes I've seen some studios with some $9,000 each focal speakers etc but you really don't need it for most people.

Some studios might be worth $1,000,000+.
Most artists will be well under $10,000.
They don't want to spend $300,000 recording an album anymore in a digital era.

      • KRK make some good monitors, but it's not the ROKIT range. But you see why they say things like this - because it works, as you can tell by the idiots downvoting the truth.

        • Old 6s were pretty solid , until the black goop of death starts oozing and they buzz

You're not wrong. I've always found these far too harsh, and the mackies to be superior in price tier.

    • +1

They are great for the price range and quite good for at home DJing. They're not for producing music but nothing in that price range is anyway

      • +2

You can produce music on a set of logitechs ,
These are fine for producing , its mastering that you want really true monitors for the best result

Having expensive studio monitors wont make you a good producer

  • Prepare for the hiss
