A decent deal if you want rechargeable 1.5V battery, (NIMH is 1.2V), 1400 mAh so its not that bad (NiMH is a bit higher, and other non usb c charging ones too, but it has convenience of usb c charging)

        It's only convenient if you are replacing one battery at a time.

        In the real world, most devices that use AA/AAA require two or more batteries, so a dedicated charger would still make more sense.
