This is B grade unit so buy at your own risk, but the price is incredibly cheap for a 10th Gen CPU laptop. Not sure if the keyboard is included or not.

Code is WSJUL17 for ebay Plus members…
Wot?
The item was 147.05 without eBay plus or 143.59 with eBay plus. I wouldn’t have paid 49 to save < 3.50.
Actually it's not $30 when you have to spend that "voucher" without any other codes applicable.
There are plenty of items where discount codes can’t be applied. So using the $30 voucher still gives you value.
Was never able to use the $30 voucher for my purchases. Happened 2 years in a row. Will appear for things I didn't want to buy though.
Given up on it.
Yeah when they give that discounted Auspost, it's like a cheat code to life.
Interesting, the note ‘may have a bios lock’ is a bit of a concern for me though !
Just a bit-lock of a concern eh?
makes me a bit duBIOS
ps i just bought one to have a play with it
Modern corporate laptops may need bios reflashing to make it bootable without password. Accurate reflashing would need disordering the chip, progrmmator, properly cleared bios, and soldering the chip back. Not as trivial as remove battery or disk.
@Ozzster: Some dell products with bios lock can’t be simply flashed.
It requires a chip to be physically replaced on the MB.
Idk with these.
Very good chance the bios will be locked, particularly if they're ex banking/financial units.
Great price especially if keyboard is included. Can't tell if it is
This is whats holding me back, its got in photos and specifications but not explicity stated in the description…
They included the keyboard on the previous deal for the A grade units, but still unsure on this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/899916
Can you please confirm @Calmago ?
"2-in-1", can't be that without keyboard
Photo shows it
oh: may have a faulty USB Port or ethernet port…
Product Specifications suggest a keyboard

Are the RAM and SSD Soldered in to the MB or are they upgradable?
yaks! hate these soldered thing…leave no choice to user!
RAM is aoldered, SSD is M.2 2230, which can be replaced.
Have anyone have experience with return the laptop if dont like it so much?
It’s eBay plus so you can get free return if you don’t like it, eBay will generate a return shipping label for free
I dont have ebayplus at the moment :)
When these deals pop up I usually get the $5 for a month. Then cancel at the end of the month. Very easy to get $5 value out of it in a month, and it's worth it over an annual for me as I use eBay maybe 2-3 times a year max. Amazon gets an annual tho ;)
Better to pick up Surface Pros from Marketplace for cheaper. Picked up two beauties. One for $70 and other for $100. Both SP5 8gb/256gb
What's the exact spec I should look for?
OOS!
That's okay! These are returned stock from the previous sales.
How do you know?
Assuming the previous sales were at higher listed grades. When returned by buyers, the seller would then downgrade the grade and relist the product.
Would be interested to hear what condition you guys that actually got one came in if you could let us know when received , cheers
I got a similar one from them a while ago, B Grade and it was pretty much flawless physically. Only thing was on a fully black screen, I could see a small white cloudy area, like someone pushed too hard on the screen?
But when I’m using it daily, it’s 100% gone. Writing emails, Spreadsheets, YouTube, etc. can’t see it at all. I only notice it when I’m shutting down and the screen goes black for a few seconds
@Calmago have any insight?
So what is B grade.
Mentions there is 80% battery life
It means that A is better.
This is what they list as potential issues for B grade laptops:
Usb faulty as well
Back in stock
Duh no more
That was probably some sort of glitch. Nobody managed to get one.
The last purchase was at 8:09:16 AEST
I bought an A grade unit of the same laptop with them couple days ago. Delivery was pretty fast, it came with the keyboard. The laptop has 2 little scratches at the back other than that it has been pretty good. The bluetooth function and fingerprint scanner were disabled, needed to enable them in the BIOS.
And can you go into bios….??
Yes you can. Press f12 when starting it up.
So not sure if bad luck, but I bought a refurb Dell Latitude 7210 2 in 1 as per this deal, but from UNTech - worked fine but then the touchscreen stopped working.
Sent it back to them no problems, got a replacement, all good. On the new one, run Dell Command Update to get all latest drivers and BIOS, then the touchscreen stops working on the replacement.
Windows acknowledges the existence of the touchscreen, but the touchscreen doesn't work, even in a Linux Live USB, a fresh install of Windows or even the BIOS and the Dell ePSA Diagnostics so definitely not a Windows specific issue.
Only thing I can think of is that it's a bum BIOS update - unfortunately the latest BIOS you can't roll back to a previous version so I guess I'm stuck with a tablet that can't be used as a tablet.
hmm i think i will wait for another year, hopefully july 2026 the 11th gen will be at this price range (with ebay plus promo etc). the igpu from intel gen 8 to 10 are basically the same, too old. 11th-12th-13th are decent (for igpu not comparing with external gpu)
imagine if you wait 5 years what model you would be able to get at this price!
yeah lucky im not in hurry i have 12th gen for my main laptop, enough for my usage
I have an older version of the dell 2 in 1 but the funny thing it's, the start bar doesn't respond to touch screen but the rest of the screen does.
When using as a tablet. I had to remember to use the windows button on the side as opposed to pressing the start button on the screen.
I got mine today, battery is 62.4%, other than that it is surprisingly brand new condition. Not a single mark.
I received mine today too. It has a perfect looking screen (and keyboard).
Battery is about 65% as well
I'm happy. Windows 11 is installing as I type this
It seems like genuine battery is around $60
I held back over concern that 8gb ram wasn't enough for windows 11. How does it handle it?
To be honest, I didn't expect much from their so-called B-grade device, especially given our past experience. But apart from the battery being at 63%, it's practically a brand new machine—no marks, dents, screen issues, or port problems. HW scans fine as well. It still gives me around 2.5 hours of casual use (I'm running Windows 11 Pro 24H2). I've tested it with 8–10 high-resolution YouTube streams across different browsers and 15–20 browser tabs open. RAM usage hovers around 80–90%, but so far, I haven’t noticed any issues. It performs on par with my other laptops with 16GB or 24GB RAM. Honestly, I bought this purely in the OzBargain spirit, without any specific use case in mind—but for $143, what more can you expect?
my windows install/upgrade went very smoothly. Keyboard is in perfect, brand new condition. couple of light scratches on back of main unit, but screen is absolutely 100% perfect - I'm very impressed.
Now, just got to find a use for it !!
My battery is at 72%
quite a few superficial scuffs on the back panel and a few little dings on the edge of the screen.
would not detect wifi drivers and whenever rebooting would not detect the keyboard unless i rebooted with a power source connected. updated the drivers via dell then did the win 11 update and seems to have addressed the issues.
Very happy, in great nick. Battery is at 35750 mWh fully charged, and design capacity is 37240,
:)
My battery totally dead wont hold a charge and fails in bios HW test see what they say….
EDIT. Great support they are sending me out a new battery!
my unit only has a light scuff mark on the back.
screen looks very good.
overall condition is very good.
all usb ports works.
only battery health is near 50%.
$173 - Code does not work (Edit, the code is WSJUL15)
