Good price, but also 9g of sugar per bar. So it's a very high calorie source of protein.
    …something to be aware of.

Not all flavours, I had a look yesterday while shopping some contain 9gms where others have 4-5gms per bar, there are about 10-12 varieties to choose from.

    • Muesli bars in general are just not great. They seem like they should be so much better but just always disappoint.

    • Also high fat content

Cookies n cream & coconut flavoured bars are the best ones imo.

Also don’t worry about the 9grams of sugar if you’re physically active. I use these as a pre workout snack

The new pistachio variety is probably their best yet. Lower on the calorie and sugar count, along with a tad more protein, tastes great too.

      OMG YES!

Just bought a box over the weekend and tried one today.

It’s says limited but hope it becomes permanent.

  • Anyone know what flavour has the lowest sugar content?

    • +3

Nut Butter had lowest carbs a while back.
6.1g sugar per bar. Still the lowest of the 5 varieties I bought yesterday.

Those with berries have highest sugar (9+ grams.)

Pistachio Delight 7.9g sugar per bar. I guess it's their take on the Dubai chocolate fad. Nice as a treat.

i'd love some of that Nut Butter in my mouth right now

Not on sale right now but for people who often buy these protein bars, I recommend trying the Uncle Toby's Protein varieties for a better protein/kcal ratio while reducing fat and having a bit more carbs.

It isn't often when they are 50% off but when they are, $3.35 per box is a great deal - great for a pre-workout snack. 🤤

I can vouch, when they were 50% off a few weeks ago, I purchased alot. They are very delicious, better than carmen's IMO. The protein:calorie ratio is ok, typical of a protein bar.

But my go to protein bar for a balance of cost, taste and macros are Sam's Pantry, the apple flavour is the one I love…… it's rarely on sale though.

  • Full of SH ingredients the lot of them, soy, soy, soy and SH load of fillers, not gonna go into bars sizes, everything shrinking literally overnight. Ah, governmental agenda in everything… Everything's so… Spontaneous on our experimental island SH Hole…

      What's wrong with soy?

Are we going to bring up the myth that soy increases oestrogen and lowers testosterone to a relevant effect in humans?

      • Personally, I avoid it due to thyroid, but it’s probably more of a personal preference, whey is easier.

Thanks. Also get 1 bonus disney card for this, thanks to this post i bought 2 of these and in my $39 shop was expecting 1 card but got 3…

Used to be a good company many years ago, then they got greedy, starting making crappy bars filled with sugar and cheap fillers like soy protein crisps while also significantly increasing the price.

    • +1

Yep. Only the original bars are good.

  • +2

    Still pricey
