  • Hows this compare to the Roborock Q7B Robot Vacuum ($269 Delivered @ Mobileciti eBay) deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/912675
The Roborock Q7B is working great and i want another one but wondering if i should give the ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 a try

Does the ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 really not have LiDAR navigation? thats crazy is so when the Roborock Q7B does

The Roborock is a Ferrari, the Deebot is a bicycle. But the bicycle is missing a wheel, brakes, and a seat.

      • Deebot use to be good once upon a time

      • inshort - it's a seatpost?

This has regularly been at $299 with either coupons or the discounted price. I picked one up (and returned) for $250 when they had a coupon with the sale price. YMMV but found this to be an average bot at best and the "mopping" function is dragging a rag around.

I got one for $209.00 using coupons, not happy with it. I have N8 and that is 10 times better than thisone…

This product consistently loses map configurations, and recreating them is a frustrating and time-consuming process. The experience has been extremely disappointing—avoid this and stay away with this product.

We got one recently on Amazon. We like it, have 3 separate zones set up which works well. Didn't get it for the mopping function per se and we know that we'll still need to vacuum those harder to reach places every week or so. Carpets are quite clean and it picks up the cat hair pretty well! Have had a an entry level iRobot one in the past and this does a similar if not the same job.
