Just got the 83" inch G5 for $6743.00 using this promo. I called my local store and asked what I needed to trade. I didnt need to trade anything.
Bought a 65" G5 and when I called the store they said no trade in is required. They just added the discount when I paying.
I'd skip the 5 series if you can.
The firmware still hasn't rectified the c series without compromising input lag..
And g series is really best functional at filmmaker mode.
Bit of a crippled launch honestly..
If you can hold off, skip until the 6 series launch.

Filmmaker mode is the only mode where you can play HDR content, with the tvs brightness and have low input lag.
