  FYI 4G only plan - currently only the large $40pm plan has 4g/5g coverage

    Can't believe they still haven't rolled out 5G mainstream yet.

    Their marketing copy on their 5G trial page is so old is still mentions 3G, despite that being shut down:

    Device can switch between 3G, 4G and 5G networks depending on available coverage areas.
    5G is currently data only. Call on 5G capable devices, will revert to 4G or 3G networks

      3G is operating in quite a few places surprisingly or not. We visited Wilpena Pound SA, Tom Price or Karijini WA in the last month, my Optus line shows H+ still (!)

    I agree with this. Coverage is really bad with Vodafone. Especially the more you go rural

      If you apply it early does it "start the clock" on the new one year immediately, or does it wait until your current plan is finished?

  In Vic and pretty happy with Kogan so far (1 month) after porting from Boost. I am on the large plan which someone mentioned has 5g.
