    Darling hold my hand

    Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday

I paid one way from Brisbane to Cebu for 750 bucks with jetstar on December 21st one way. First time I got a great deal during the time that every one is on holiday no on offpeak. and my return trip from manila was only 300 thanks to virgin :D on the 12th of Jan

cant find something for dec-jan for delhi.

    • +1

Dec-Jan because of school holidays and Christmas break is always expensive.

  • To confirm - they will pay me $778 to go to Delhi? My initial thinking is they'd need to add another zero

    • -1

Delhi probably isn't ready for your level of ignorance. I'm pretty sure they'd pay you $778 not to come, if they knew what they will be getting 😂.

      • -1

You been there, hoss? I have. Many times. And you’d need to pay me strong money to return.

        • It's interesting that you said you have been there many times. I wonder why you would visit it more than once if you didn't like it. Did they pay you to visit the second time onwards? And to answer your question, yes I have been to there twice.

@rvsure: I had a job that required it. It was the clear lowlight of my extensive travel regime.

            • +1

@dwarves: Hope you moved that job that's forcing you to go to places you don't like. On the other hand I will be lucky if I get a job like that pays me to go places.

It would have helped others if you shared your experience instead of just leaving vague unhelpful comments. I am not sure what you saw in Delhi, but I went to see the hundreds of years old historic monuments like Red fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb and the more modern yet architecturally amazing Akshradham temple, Lotus temple, India gate etc. I think the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I go to places to see the best of them, if you only want to see what you don't like, you probably will find fault with even Antarctica.

Obviously Delhi is not your typical western country cities, it has traffic chaos, noise and a dose of diarrhea if you are not careful enough on where you eat and what you drink. If you do your research, plan and see beyond these minor inconveniences you will thoroughly enjoy the city.

@rvsure: Do you know who thinks travel for work is glamorous? People who've never had to travel for work.

Last time I bothered counting I'd been to 56 countries. India is absolutely dead last on that list for places I'd want to go back to. You like it? Bully for you. Newsflash: others are allowed to have a different view, and you cannot assume that "research and planning" would change that.

              • @rvsure: I bet you Delhi is the worst. I have been to Delhi amd they are hypocrites for Indians too. I had a friend Xavier from Italy who I picked up in Delhi - we both had stomach bugs even after having food @ good places. The cab drivers who were asking me to keep quiet as I had a white person next to me & they were claiming for more money. I have literally shown my middle finger to those curry munchers & walked away to avoid paying extra. But my friend from NZ enjoyed with me in Mumbai & was so happy to enjoy saving his money & saved him from crap food.

                • @rehan770: In my view Mumbai certainly beats Delhi, as do most other Indian cities. But I would pick Delhi over Goa. I have absolutely no idea how so many Brits seemingly think it is an acceptable place to spend even a skerrick of time. Goa’s coastline - which was shown to me with pride by some locals - is a disgusting, filthy, waveless, rubbish covered cesspool.

Why are you getting downvotes for not wanting to go to the most racist country in the world weird.

      • +2

Probably because they're socialist cucks who think no-one's allowed to have a negative opinion about a country that is financially less fortunate than we are. Oh and, unlike me, most of them have probably never even been there and experienced its, uh, joys.

I hear you, would rather bleed out than step foot in that place ever again.
