Went to IKEA Springvale to use my $50 off $100 Minimum Spend IKEA Family Member voucher yesterday evening and saw the Shell on the other side of Princes Hwy is offering this amazing unleaded 91 price.

I think they are trying to compete with Atlas Mulgrave 500m down the road who is offering $1.499/L

However, you may get a daily -4c voucher from the Shell App or AFL App which brings it down to $1.479/L
Also don't forget your Coles -4c docket and pay with 6% off discounted fuel gift card, which brings it down to $1.353/L if you have all 3.
The staff there couldn't tell me when this amazing offer is going to expire, so always check the PetrolSpy App first before making your way there to avoid disappointment.
In comparison Costco Moorabbin U91 is $1.617/L+$65 membership fee LOL

    A few places around me in Sydney's north that are sitting at around 1.50, annoying that I just filled up with 1.79 and the hybrid goes for a month on one tank!!

      Jerry cans. I do that all the time depending on price cycle plus 7/11 fuel lock. The latter isn't as useful as it once was though, with 25c max cap.

        Do you remove it from you car after filling it up or just leave it in the boot? Depending on size, it could be dead weight that could have impact on the fuel economy.

          Take them out and leave them in my shed. 3 x 25L capacity. Got them when 7 Eleven constantly had pricing errors in recent years, paid back my initial investment many times over.

            @Lucille Bluth: The Activ Visa cards are such a pain in the arse to use compared to getting actual gift cards from Macquarie like Woollies or Amazon. I think I’ll just stick with the 2% back from HSBC next time.
