The burgers are very average without customisation. Need to add max lettuce and supercharged sauce at a minimum to make them half decent.
Add corn chips too
They are great if you get a coleslaw side and dump it on IMO
the chicken mayo lettuce combo is too good imo i don’t have any problem with it
If you check in while at the counter and ask them to change the sauce and add some extra lettuce, they most likely will, just won't let you do it in the app.

@Fobsessive: They spent more time asking the manager (wage cost x 2), than it would have taken to just put it through. Would've done it through the app, but not possible there either.
Customisation is usually available for other deals so why do you think not for this one
Other July deals such as the 50% off Zinger, 50% Off Original Crispy, 50% Off Zinger Stacker and the Double Zinger Feast (Non mini game version) didn't allow customisation, at least in QLD, I could be wrong though about this one but I would be very surprised.
It’s definitely for the staffs sake. Trying to prepare 50 custom burgers alongside all other orders during the lunch/dinner rush would be really stressful for the young staff.

Worked in HJs customising every single burger in my late teen years (and was paid $5.59 per hr to do it).
Eventually the automated part of your brain takes over and you do it all without thinking. 15 seconds from start to wrapped and gone … with 8 seconds of that in the microwave for cheese.

I worked at a McDonald’s. We had a metal warmed assembly line and “landing zone” (which gave some small heat) and also the heat of the meat patty that would melt cheese. We didn’t need to put into microwave for extra head

Then into a broiler / steamer to keep at temp.
Things like add cheese, bacon etc.
Microwave zap bottom half. Sounds iffy, but it works.
Yeh always add supercharge and chilli relish for a budget zinger stacker. Shame they don't give you option to.

Sorry, I worded my comment poorly. On a day to day basis, nothing will ever beat it. This however is a much better deal as a one off.

@Vinodra: I think it is a timezone difference thing with set start times in OzBargain. It says the deal starts at 11:30pm for me, which is why it will be saying "later today".

Best way to reheat these in an air fryer imo
Preheat for 2 minutes (200C)
Air fry the fillets by themselves for 3—4 minutes (200C)
Air fry the bun for 45 seconds separatly

Quality has been bad near my home in all 3 KFCs. Last tried it in Dec-2024 around Christmas time due to desperation as nothing else was open and I would rather go KFC than Macca's. Both at the bottom of the barrel.

Local place said online orders were broken so I could only get a refund after waiting in the drive through. According to them it's at least a Sydney wide problem for kfc online orders

I just tried to order the KFC deal throught the app today and apparently the whole system is down.
I spent 20 minutes trying to put the order through on the app, drove down and they were able to put it through at the counter.
Was thinking 4 chips is way too many, finished 2 on the drive back lol. I'm glad these deals are finally coming to an end.

For once this was actually great quality. Burgers all hot, lots of lettuce, chips crisp and golden and perfectly salted. And no long wait unlike the last deal which took over 30 mins in drive thru. Not healthy and I always feel regret later but after a 13k run it was satisfying.
Why did everyone go crazy over the last deal when you could get the same thing in the catch prize game. Weird.
