    Crazy how this is from 2018 and is 4 generations ago and still does this well against the 11 and again against the 12 and yet again against the 15 and finally against the Gen5

        If its the brush's worn…get a set off ali express for $5, or the entire roller unit for $7

        If it's the battery 'faiing' , get a drill adapter from Ali X press for $16.

        Never seen any Dyson fail yet. I pick them up on hard rubbish all the time and give them away (no need to go to landfill)…just need a clean, or flash the F U Dyson firmware from Github so it doesn't cut out after 5 mins.

        Fun Fact - I posted the Github link on Facebook to help someone out..and got an immediate ban listed as a Cybercriminal

          Had a V8 for years, battery started only charging to 2 lights out of three. Pulled the housing apart and manually balanced the cell voltages and put it back together. Now charges to 3 lights however I am thinking of modding so it works with my RC Balance Charger. Had a look at the firmware but unfortunately that is just a forced extension and there is no mod for "re-balancing" firmware.

            @buyer-123: Yeah, a bit sad isn't it. The board has everything there for balancing . Dyson would have the firmware, but will never release it.

            Will be an iffy/ reduced capacity cell/s in your pack. Could replace the cells (which will brick it). So will then need the FU Dyson flash to bring it back to life.

            As for the RC. The trigger is a basic 'power on'. No handshake etc. Hence the drill battery adapters work. Should be able to rig a RC balanced pack in there without too much issue.

    Swear by the V10. Bought the absolute plus 6 years ago and it was worth every cent. I paid ~$850 FYI so this is a good price.

      Totally Agree, bought ours when it was fairly newly released. Have looked at more recent models which wife finds heavier or more bulky.

      When our V10 dies I will definitely buy again.

        i don't sorry. I did go back to the page listing and it was replaced with AUG25. So yeah perhaps it was targeted.

        I just tried in private bowser without logging in and it wasn't there either. Perhaps i got lucky and now they removed the code.
