I'm just looking for some opinions on East Digital. Been procrastinating buying another 2 drives for my NAS over the last year or two because of the cost of the larger drives. Has anyone had any experience with their 3 year warranty, do they honour it?

I bought a refurb off them last week and came with a 3 year warranty. 1 year on the "pulls" HDD

Yes, I've had good experiences with them.
They have honoured both a drive which was throwing ZFS errors on delivery, as well as a drive which started encountering bad sectors after 1 year.
That said, I would test drives thoroughly before use.

24 total drives, 2 DoAs (easily returned and replaced)
16 been deployed in various ZFS/RAID configs for 18+ months, no issues
4 deployed for ~3 months, no issues
4 spares for when issues occur (they have been completely read/write tested for 10 days) :P
1x 16tb drive so far
Did a full preclear in Unraid
I have 4 drives from them, 3 * 16TB X16 (got as brandnew, ended up with 2 used according to FARM data later on) + 1 * 18TB HC550 (used). All are still working
I have done extensive sector tests before use, and it took a couple of days for testing
What has been the experience with RMA through them?
I received 4 HDDs a few weeks ago and one has slowly died over the last 2 weeks.
I’ve sent them a few emails over the last week but I’ve heard absolutely crickets from them 😭
In some other threads, a few users had to return drives. I was surprised that the return postage was not covered though.

I don’t care about paying for postage - I haven’t even received a reply that they’re going to replace them at all!

Seems wrong to not reimburse postage when its a faulty product.
From what I've read, they are usually prompt to respond though..

Yes test away. They cracked down on a few of these operations recently in Malaysia.

Recently bought their Exos 24TB drives and came in a reasonable time.
To my surprise, they had 0 operating hours on them.
Probably got super lucky with it but overall drives are working great.

They only have 1 year warranty now, you would have only had 3 year if you purchased them a long time ago?
