This is the default SteamOS version, featuring 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It’s not as affordable as the white version that was available a couple of weeks ago, but it comes with significantly better specs.
You can combine it with a 13% Cash Reward, bringing the price down to around $881 after deducting GST from the cashback.
It’s about $240 more expensive than the white version, but for that, you’re getting an extra 16GB of RAM and an additional 512GB of storage.
The market value of 16 GB LPDDR5X-6400MT/s = $140
Plus, 512GB microSD card sells for around $80, so you’re effectively paying about $220 for hardware and $20 for labour premium of manual upgrade. I think that a fair price.
32Gb paired with a Z2 Go, feels a little pointless.
Nearly $400 more than the white Go which isn’t worth it for the extra ram and storage. And no windows license?
