I bought the 150gb for $149 last week cause my plan was ending :(
(Then again I only used 40gb out of 150gb last year so it doesn’t matter much)

Reception is good but this is only 4G

That's why they keep to raise price adding more data, many will never be able to use it all but in the meantime you pay more for it

  • Why my medium plan was 200gb. Well just activate last week.

  • i just brought the 200gb for 149 last night mmmm, ah well, i never use pass 150gb anyways.

  • +1

Same, 200gb $149 last week, if it helps anyone, can save $ using a voucher to recharge instead of using recharge link

    • +1

Do you mean a kogan voucher? Where can you get the voucher at a discounted price?

      • +4

The Kogan voucher the op linked is cheaper than the recharge option

        • regardless whether there is a promotion or not
recharge is always rip off compared to voucher

  • Worst thing Boost did to themselves was stop activating starter kits as a recharges. I bought a Kogan SIM (albeit Large plan with 5G) and it's not only cheaper but possibly better where i am. Time will tell when i go regional on holidays but so far I have been very impressed.

just buy a data sim when you go on travel, you'll still be covered.

This is a better deal (including the cashback):

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/917500

    220gb for $125

    • +3

Kogan runs regular sales, so you can renew the plan each year at a similar price( or better from time to time).
Your deal, on the other hand, depends on cashback offers which aren’t always available or consistent

25 dollars to jump through hoops. If you're earning 25 per hour yes, makes sense.

      • Better? Wasn't it the june 25 sale was worse than june 24 sale price & data.

    • Says expired in the page

  • Can you use this to renew an exisiting prepaid plan with kogan? And how long do you have to activate. My plan expires in 35 days?

    • Similar case for my mum. Love to know the answer too.

    • yes u can use it to renew a current or expired plan. I have done this over the past few years. Purchase by 11/08/2025 and activate Voucher before it expires on 31/08/2025

      • I'd be careful with that. "Voucher does not apply to subsequent recharges". But if the recharge failed, you can always port out and port back in before the voucher expires.

    • yes, you can as long as voucher is valid

just be wary as soon as you recharge all subsequent days/data is wiped immediately
There is no roll over what so ever

ps day resets at midnight so best to wait until after midnight to recharge so you do not "lose" a day for only few hours use

They've just increased the data on their 2 mid range plans by 20%.

    Interesting.

Hmm do I put aside my burning hatred of anything to do with Kogan? Cos it's a pretty darn good deal I'll admit.

    • Don't do it 😑

Just bought a one month Kogan sub to test it out before going all in on a 365 day. Glad I did. Kogan is, far and away, the worst MVNO I have ever used. Vodafone is better. VODAFONE.

Two weeks down, two sucky weeks to go.

  • Good luck finding a better deal

OnePass mobile for $149/year with 200GB is better imo if you aren't going to use that extra 40GB. Kogan uses Vodafone which was an absolutely dreadful experience for me last year (directly from Vodafone even with 5G) vs Optus Network with OnePass which has been miles better.

  • Bought one of these and couldn't recieve the sms to port the number , had to get a 2 dollar telstra sim to port to then again tried kogan and Lebara to port two and again no sms, I'm giving up on Vodafone

  • Anyone managed to get call forwarding to work on Kogan? It was working fine when I was with Boost. I'm using a Google Pixel 9 Pro and call forwarding was setup on the phone previously and not through the phone company.

  • Needed a data Sim to supplement my Telstra allowance.

Figures this goes on sale now after I've already paid for a Lyca 600gb - which has yet to arrive 5 days later.

  • Should i choose free sim even tho I'm existing customer?

  • So my current Kogan FLEX Pre-Paid Mobile Plan

    Data: 62 days remaining
Data renews on the midnight of 09/10/2025
    Plan Expires on 09/10/2025

what happens if I apply this voucher on 31/08/2025 (before expiry of the voucher)?

    • you will forfeit the remainder of your current plan.

      • thanks good to know, still good value though (vs renewing)

  • Waiting for a deal on the small

  • What's the fastest way to activate and how long does it take?
