30% cashback on this SIM has popped up ~weekly, but now with added 15% ($20 cap) Westpac bonus expired.
Should bring it down to a few dollars over $100 just like the similar deal a month ago

edit 31/7: without Westpac bonus, you will get $53.70 cashback, so net price $125.30

    Yeah but vodafone….

    • I know, had it through work and internet speed and reliability was pretty bad. Melbourne cbd and northern suburbs were pretty crap

    • +2

For me working better than Boost in Sydney

    • +2

In Sydney works well. One kid on Kogan, one on Vodafone. No issues.

  • how do you get the westpac bonus?

    • +1

There’s a Westpac tab on the SB app, you’ll see the Vodafone deal in there. You’ll have to connect your Westpac card to SB if you haven’t done so yet. Use your Westpac card to purchase the deal.

  • Once this has been purchased, how soon will it need to be activated?

    • +4

You have 365 days to activate but to get cashback, needs to be activated within 30 days.

  • 😕 Confused. Which one gives higher money back?

    • I think it combines the two together

  • Shopback T&Cs now excludes 365day prepaid sim but lists it under its shopback page as a deal. Someone needs to correct this. Im assuming that’s for the 320gb plan?

    • +1

I can comfirm it is tracked on shopback (53.70) still awaiting on westpac side but i would imagine that would take few days to show up

      • Yeah they should point out its the other 365 plan excluded.

  • Just got email.from shopback the cashback is now 50%??

    • +1

      Up to 50% Cashback
      $55 Prepaid Plan (discounted to $20) 50%
      $35 Prepaid Plan (discounted to $12) 50%
      $250 Prepaid Plan (discounted to $179) 30%

      • Ah right

  • my current voda 1-year prepaid about to expire, is it okay to churn out and back within 30 days and count as new service?
can't find anything in the prepaid plan T&C related to ex-customer exclusion period

    • +1

Yes. You might not even need 30 days. Some ozbargainer churned back in within a day and reported being successful. You need to make sure that the new Vodafone needs to be activate within 30 days of purchasing.

      • thank you.

  • How long can we wait for activation?

    • +1

      within 30 days of purchase

  • Can I purchase 2 sim cards and get cashback for both?

    • says 1 for the bonus

    • +1

      says:
Cashback is paid once per order/transaction, regardless of the number of plans purchased on that order.

      but for bonus Westpac:
Rewards limited to the first 1 eligible purchase traced

  • No cashback and Westpac love for the 320GB plan?

  • How is the vodafone network nowadays in regional towns? It was non-existent few years ago, but they are now sharing nw infra with optus?

  • I had a feeling yesterday there will be more cashbacks and pulled the pin before this was avaliable.

    Dammit

  • How is the vodafone network nowadays in Brisbane?

  • Does the pre-paid plan support apple watch use?

    • No, it doesn’t. You need to have a postpaid plan from one of big trio.

      • +1

Not exclusive to the big 3 now, tangerine and more has been offering this for months. Been with more with a watch plan. But yes only postpaid.

        • Thank you, I didn’t know that. Good to see the situation is improving a bit.
