  Side note: three quarters of the people who live on the central coast don't even know what El Jannahs is, as much as I'm keen its opening here IMO might be short lived.

  P.S. I used to go to the OG in Granville, its definitely gone backwards since but still better than most (I vote the next chain to go to the coast is Frangos??)

    True most locals will never have heard of El Jannah.
    But there is a Chicken shop in Bateau Bay, Vulcans, that does Charcoal chicken and that is pretty constant with people in it waiting for food.

  I'm sharing the "it's crap now" sentiment. Since they went hard out with their expansion over the past few years their product quality has declined. Often overcooked chicken, smaller portions, higher prices. Their signature garlic sauce isn't as good as it used to be.
  I'm not even tempted at $5 for this.

  Always great, never disappointed, if you’ve never had it give it a go, can’t go wrong for $5.
