    Shipping $60 to rural areas?

    • +1

Depends on the area @videoman - We charge what the couriers charge us for shipping. Sadly with heavy products it can be expensive outside metro.

      • Change your courier Rate: $26.36 Woolooware New South Wales 2230 is very poor

Bad Shepherd in VIC can ship a case here for $20

        • +3

It's not the courier's fault they have to pay the Shire tax to cross the bridge.

@iseeyou1312: Hi @mdcsooty that is for 3 cases (so less than $9 a case). We'd love it to be less, but the courier gods are expensive!

Hi @Some Random Guy - RRP's are based off the brewery price. You will see the 24 packs in market currently for between $80 and $90.

    List of ingredients please

There are 3 type of people when it comes to maths, ones that can count, and ones that can't. OP is the 3rd type.

  • We will have to chase that for you @MoistOyster

  • Might want to change the title

It's not everyone's jam, but the 8k cases we've sold this month suggests otherwise ;)

This one cracked me up! hahaha gave it 5 stars for being so bad that it's the perfect penalty in a drinking game

The perfect beverage for a drinking game — its only real purpose is as a penalty drink. We couldn’t decide what was worse: the taste itself, or the regret of not buying more. Either way, it made the weekend.

Bought it after the cashier told us it was pretty good. We thought it'd be nice to try something new outside of -196 and Hyoketsu but it got me questioning my life decision. The taste of Shochu (fermented rice alcohol) was overwhelming the cola and lemon flavour. You might as well say it was Shochu mixed with few drops of flavoured syrup. If you don't want your weekend ruined with horrendous Alcohol I'd avoid it at all cost.

  • Taste good?

    • +3

Absolutely not, but it stops the 20yro drinking my beer if I have these in the fridge.

  • +9

These tasted terrible at first, but I forced myself to drink them since I had three cases. Every time I took a sip, I reminded myself how cheap each can was. Eventually, I started to like the flavor.

    • +3

That's the addtitude I'll be packing to drink away the pain inflicted from my toddlers.

  • -5

We can see a few bad reviews online for Apple iPhones too ;)

    • What did he mean by this?

  • Cheap and cheerful. Good for a hot day! Is it Grange? No, but easy to drink and a bargin at the price (we think!)

  • 90 cans - sounds like a messy Friday night

    • Like I say every time I buy something at dan murphys, breakfast sorted.

They hate me and don't find alcoholism funny at all, but that's never going to stop me. I've entered my old man phase of life. Good luck stopping me now!

6% too. Class leading power to weight ratio.
      Taste is dreadful.

  • Well pulled the trigger cause the lawns need mowing and a thirst will be generated

    • Thanks for your support @bargainhunterdad!

  • $45 regional shipping, big oof

    Just confirming it's 3x 3x 10, right? 90 cans?

Single pack 30 pack is $30 it appears https://craftcartel.com.au/product/takai-alcoholic-hard-soda…

    • Buy the 3 x 30 pack bundle and you are sorted! ;)

      • +3

        $1.30/can delivered, I guess that's not bad.

  • +1

It's a good deal, considering each can is 330 Megalitres.

  • +5

these are trash, do not taste like cola or orange soda at all, its monk fruit with sweetener which tastes weird and bad
only way to make em bearable is mixing, might as well buy cask wine at that point

    • +1

Agreed have had 3 cans of a 10 pack and will probably tip the remaining out

  • +5

For those asking, 35g sugar / litre.

    Cheers

    • +4

      Actually not bad tbh

  • It's a great deal. What's the expiry.

    • November 2025 (Some are actually Jan 2026, not work of the shortest date!)

      Cheers

  • Thank you OP ofr sharing.
It may not be everyone's taste, this is an easy option to fill up the fridge for me

bound to get thirsty sometime !

    • Thankls for your support @frkino

      Cheers

  • Yeah not a fan, tastes more like a fortified wine than a real spirit based RTD. If you dont mind your sugary booze tasting like cheap white wine this is your drink.

  • Does this have sugar or not? Please provide the nutrition panel..
if full of sugar I will give a miss even i knew those sugar substitute like aspartame is also bad for you and increase your chance to have diabetes.

    • We don't have the nutritional panel from the supplier. Might be best to give this one a wide berth @nng526, to be safe.

      Cheers

      • In Australia, pre-packaged food and drinks must comply with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
Standard 1.2.1 requires certain information on labels, and Standard 1.2.8 requires a Nutrition Information Panel on most products unless an exemption applies.
Selling packaged drinks without the required labelling can breach the Food Standards Code and may be enforced by state health departments or the ACCC.

        • Thanks @nng526. Just to clarify - the cases will have all compliant information on it, but we don't have that in front of us. Cases sit in a big old warehouse ready to be distributed.

          Cheers

  • Pulled the trigger.

It will probably give the worst hang over, but for a golf weekend in Shepparton, this is probably on point

  • "Dispatch date: August 20th."

You'll be lucky to get these before their expiry date considering how slow Craft Cartel's shipping is.

    • We here you @GrandMaster - These bad boys are ready to roll!

What an absolute load of wank.

    • What an absolute load of wank.

      how?

a sense of nostalgia, transporting you back to simpler times.

to me says, "transporting you back to 1331 when this was the best tasting drink ever".

  • There's obviously some catch here.

I recently purchased some cans of what I thought were proper alcopops (spirit + soft drink), but they were just carbonated wine with flavourings. It's the same idea as little fat lamb - if you brew the lot after adding the flavourings, not before, then it doesn't count as an alcopop and so the tax is cheaper.

Is it the same sort of thing here?
