Something nice for the horology enthusiasts. Costco Marsden Park have marked down the price of some Longines and Omega watches to half price or less. Costco already priced these cheaper than ADs, and now it's even cheaper. Notable mentions:
- Omega De Ville co-axial $3999.99. (down from $7999.99)
- Longines Pulsemeter Chrono $2999.99 (down from $5999.99)
- Longines Conquest chrono VHP $1499.99 (down from $3199.99)
- Longines Record diamond marker $2999.99 (down from $5949.99)
- Longines Master collection moonphase $1999.99 (down from $4499.99)
- Longines Master collection small seconds $2499.98 (down from $4999.98)
- Baume & Mercier Classima $1499.99 (down from $3499.99)
- Ladies Omega and Longines were half price or less as well, but I don't know too much about the womens models I'm afraid.
Whilst I'm more a GS fan myself, I will still recognise a great deal when I see one, even if it's not my taste. These prices are cheaper than the secondhand market, plus it's from Costco so they are all 100% genuine.
Folks I forgot to mention, these also qualify for the 2% cashback if you have an executive membership.
FAQs:
Why would I pay this much for a non-smartwatch?
Because these watches will not go obsolete in a few years, and can be passed down for generations. Good luck passing down your 20-year old Apple watch to your descendants on your deathbed.
Will these watches make better first impressions in job interviews than a car?
Yes, because you are not doing your job interview in a carpark. So your employer can see your rockin' piece on your wrist during the interview and be impressed.
Can I flex with these watches more than an AMG?
Yes, any person with a full-time job can get an AMG on finance, and once they leave their car they can't flex anymore and become nobody. These watches you need pay the full amount upfront and you can have on you 24/7 and be somebody. Plus unlike a car these watches not a necessity so you can brag to others about how much disposable income you have.
Do these watches come with their respective shopping bags so I can show other people what I bought?
No, but you can help yourself to the hundreds of cardboard boxes Costco keep near the registers. You can even buy a Costco reusable shopping bag to show others you have a Costco membership, which is the ultimate flex.
Are these good investments?
Yes, probably, but I'm not a financial advisor.
