  • Do they define "new Menulog customers"?

    • Maybe just new account and phone number. After all, could be someone's kid using their parents' credit card.

  • +6

    DON’T!
It’s usually only one per cash back account. I’ve always got issues with them in tracking my purchases. Better buy without any offer

  • +1

Had a new account, never tracked until I had to chase them up several times over 3 months time and then they manually added it. So, doesn’t seem to be robust mechanism to know if it’s a new account. So beware if your cashback doesn’t automatically track.

GF created a new Menulog account and we used my SB account, which has had previous menulog cashbacks. Order tracked at existing customer rates and their support wouldn't help. Shopback gets commission for a new user but passes on only existing customer cashback, so massive profit for them.

last time I created a new account, even spend extra $10 for "plus" with the first order, only to got tracked the wrong amount (a few % instead of 100%). Contacted support, got the adjustment, then a few months later it was declined :) What a joke!

supposed to be a great deal, but there usually will be a problem with the tracking :)

Menulog fails to track on my android phone, SB support have been lttle help with 2 cases open for 4 months

    • +1

I have done and received a few chargebacks with nab after nothing tracked multiple times, I explained the situation and gave the appropriate info/evidence and got my money back eventually for them.

  • Did this couple of weeks ago but tracked as an existing customer. Always tracks but gets rejected because I use codes for every order however Topcashback approves them nowadays

  • +1

So, based on all of the above, it would be best not to waste time on this. Even if you can eventually get $30 'worth' of food out of it, that will have been at a great time cost; and there's a chance you will get little to nothing back at all.

Ordered on Saturday. Did not track.

To everyone complaining that they tried to hack the system and pretend to be a new user when they're not:
    You're not a new user.
Sure, it's nice to try and get free stuff and see what works. But if it doesn't work, you haven't lost any right you had to a deal. You just weren't eligible.

    • +1

But most people were eligible, and it didn’t work, that’s why people complained

      • I find it more than hard to believe that there is anyone on Ozbargain who hasn't got a Menulog account.

        • well, there's me. I only created an account because of the 100% cashback and it didn't work

  • Did not track.
