iPhone Deal Stacking Aug/Sept 2025

Hi team, knowing it’s not long until the new iPhones come out, I’m keen to see what people have up their sleeve for deal stacking to get your iPhone at the cheapest price possible.

Last time around for me it was Officeworks price matching Costco and then using discounted gift cards. To my understanding Officeworks no longer price match Costco so this shot a spanner in the works.

I’m keen to hear if anyone has anything else up their sleeve or anything better than that combo above or has a replacement for Costco in the price match.

  I still have the 16 Pro Max, so it's too early to upgrade unfortunately :(

  If your planning on selling your current iPhone it’s best to lock in the sell price a few days before the announcement

  This will give you 14 days to hand it in
  At this stage it looks to be the 9th of sept/10th

      Nothing wrong with that. They normally do, just to cross-check the IMI or serial number against the receipt.

  I've got my 14 Pro Max on release day in 2022 with $1200 gift card on JB mobile / Telstra deal, but I've heard with recent bump for maximum voucher repayment fee to $1000 AUD (when you cancel the plan) it won't be worth doing again? Can someone confirm pls?

    Yes, you are right. Its $958 + $99 for the first month. I think there's not much people can do for the next release iphone. People used to get JB Telstra plan OR price match Costco price at Officeworks then pay with 10% off GC, both are no longer available now.
