Was at Costco, feels like ATL, at least on ozbargain. Same price in-store and online.

New model is an improvement over old model - who woulda thunk it!
The C7K is a higher tier model, not a newer model
Regardless, I still don't see the point of jv's comment. Sure, if the C7K was cheaper or near this price it might be relevant, or if they provided more context as to why someone should consider spending a bit extra to upgrade. Simply pointing out that the higher tier model is better doesn't bring anything to the table.
@c0bnut: Link shows Costco selling this for $1,549.99 before the discount, so read my comment again…
Much more local dimming zones, more brightness and better audio. Otherwise identical I think.
Great price
I have the 75" C6K screen, and yes… obviously the C7K (and C8K) are better screens, but we're now at the point where the "budget model" actually has decent features including 4K 144Hz VRR support for consoles.
I can't comment on sound (have an external 5.1 setup) but for the price I'm very happy with mine.
How's the UI on the tv and remote functionality. I've had Samsungs forever and recently bought a Hisense and noticed a massive negative difference. Surprisingly TCL are one of the few who make 115" plus consumer grade.
The inbuilt Google TV works extremely well and performance wise is comparable to the newer Google 4K Streamer (in other words, it's smoother than the older Google Chromecast with Google TV 4K model).
I use Plex & Youtube on mine daily with no issues
One other thing, for those interested, as it's often hard to find the actual HMDI information…
HDMI 1 - 4K 144Hz (e)ARC
HDMI 2 - 4K 144Hz / Service port
HDMI 3 - 4K 60Hz
HDMI 4 - 4K 60Hz(This is for my 75" C6K, though I assume the 65" would be the same)
I found this tv to have a glossy finish to the screen and that it reflects my inside lights quite badly
Just get a dimmer switch fitted.
Might void the warranty.
Reviews of c6 ,c7 ,c8 all mention very reflective glossy screens. But The c7 and c8 cope better due to the higher brightness.
I was able to Price Beat with the The Good Guys to bring it down to $947 then used discounted 5% off eGift card to pay for it :D
Nice ozbargaining 🏆
Go all the way and get the C8K. Worth the extra dollars. We got the 65” C8K and it’s so worth it.
That model is over $1000 more than C6K. I'm happy with the C6K for half the price, can't fault it so far.

$1930 now. You can price match it and bargain more if you want to.
Can't find it on Costco website, is it sold out?
Isn't the C7K better?
